CSX4758 Now has A/C!!
James.....James....we didn't see no James. Beer...beer...yeah we had lots of that leftover Just wanted to thank Mr. Matt Murdoch for all his help Saturday. We got to knock holes in sheetrock....played with power tools...hammers and saws...and more tools Oh my!! But by the time the sun was starting to set we were kicked back having a cold one.....and then proceeded on to the Tequila while we sat and admired our work. The unit is in....the wall is back up and all that's left to do is put up 2 pieces of trim that we ran out of. Still need to insulate the door but all in all a very fun day
Should have stayed home Sunday to finish cleaning up the mess but at midnight Saturday decided to participate in the "Texas Drivers Magazine" drive through east Texas with Bill Neale leading the way. WOW! what a cool day it was. Let's see.....we had a Porche Carrera, Ferarri 348 Spyder, F355 Spyder, Ferrari 360, Panoz Esp.,Z06 Corvette, 68 Shelby, 67 Shelby, Viper, Taurus (us), a few Mustangs, Suziki bike, Bill's turbo Mini Cooper and a real bad boy twin turbo charged Lamborghini Diablo. Did we have fun was an under statement. Down through the twisty roads of east Texas at warp 9 was a blast. Stopped in Sulphur Springs for bar-b-que and had to guest speakers. I could not even begin to spell thier names....but both of them recalled their experiences racing at Lemans. Also notable was that one of the gentlemen was the same person that handed Carroll Shelby the champagne bottle when he won a Lemans.
Back home that afternoon where the rest of the day was spent enjoying the A/C........oh my....it's chilly out here!
