Noland's JBL to Montana
JBL to Montana
www.thenolands.com/cobra
Yes the JBL is finally off the ground and moving to Montana. The frame and all the components have been completed and Larry Goins was down in Fallbrook on July 16, 2004 to trailer it up to the final assembly facility. Time from order to “stage 1” completion is very impressive, with the schedule Larry is hoping to complete the car this should be done soon. Can you tell I am getting anxious
Here is a picture of the Frame back from the powder coaters. It looks awesome, Richard said it is even better in person as the picture does not do it all the justice.
Here is a picture of it loaded on the trailer headed to Montana. My car is on the top… the bottom car is Jack’s
Stay tuned for more updates, Larry is going to be taking a series of pictures to show the build process in addition I should be scheduling at least two visits to the shop over the next two months

Chris
After all of the months of investigating, deciding and then buying, the trailer picture makes it real. I think Larry will do a great job on both of our toys. Now if I can just beat the snow in Pa for at least one ride...
Looking forward to the coordinated visit to Dillon.
Congrats to both of us.
Jack
PS Trailer pic is blown up and over desk. Wife thinks I am nuts.

More updates
James... I think since I do not need the short shaft kit I can get mine sooner.
Also the cars have made it to Montana and I have updated our site
http://www.thenolands.com/cobra
Did I mention how hard it is to actually pick a color! I am losing my mind!
maybe I should go with my first choice yellow or orange

Chris,
Dave and I wouldn't stop you from going to Montana and helping Larry but you do want to get the car finished as soon as possible don't you? That's right.....you just work that check book.
I think it's great that Larry is building yours and Jack's car. I can't wait to see how they turn out. I like your idea of yellow. The right yellow could really look wild on a JBL. If I ever get my car painted, I'm such a slow a$$, it will be a solid color silver. At least that's what I've been telling myself.
Your car looks good just sitting in the shop. Keep us posted! Your website looks good. Maybe we can get together one of these times when your out my way. Sorry I couldn't make it last time you were out. My car is a mess right now anyway.

Chris
Up until last night, the color thing was driving me crazy as well. After 5 minutes with Larry we went from Lambo titantium to Toyota Dark Green Mica with Champange ghosts. In the same logical color family right .
Larry is really getting into the work big time. This afternoon he is calling me to let me hear the baby cry for the first time. This should be wild.
I also can't do the license plate fix. I have the last of the "split" bodies versus your single rear mold.
Jack
