Texas Heat Wave Car Show
Have any of ya'll been to this show in previous years? I was wondering if it was worth the $15 spectator fee or not.
FYI. It's this weekend, July 23-25 at the Travis Co. Expo Center.

Never been there, but it must be SOME show!
I have never been there, but I think a $15.00 spectator fee seems a bit high! That being said, if it supports some worthwhile local charity, or if they have some REALLY unusual/historic/rare/fantastic cars there, then that might be another story.....if it benefits some local worthwhile charity!
Now, in the scheme of things, $15.00 will get two people into a matinee theatre, so it is all relative.
It just seems a bit high, higher than the Yellow Rose in Ft. Worth, which is a REALLY good Ford auto show with a LOT of cars!
Good luck, & go if you want to, but if you do choose to attend, please post later & let us know if it was money well spent.

I think $15 is high for a spectator fee also. From what I can tell the only charity that is being supported is the checking accounts of the organizers.
Unless I get positive feedback from one of our members I'm going to pass.

I was there last year, and they had bouncing hydraulic-suspensioned cars inside the building, and most everything outside, which were really trucks, trucks and more trucks. After the first few, the rest were nothing special. I won't bother to gp again, but maybe you're into that stuff.
Cheers,
-Neil.

I had heard that from a friend also. I have two of my own and I know what they look like. I think I'm going to pass on this show.
Thanks for the info.
