Default August 7th Mustang Car Show in Austin

Has anyone ever attened the Mustang Owners Club of Austin annual car show? It looks like they had over 120 cars last year.
This year's event will be on Saturday the 7th. 8:30-10:30am registration, with trophies at 2pm.
If anyone hear at Club Cobra says this is a worthwhile event, I will drive up from Houston. If it's a nice day, I'll drive the SPF. If it rains, I'll drive my 2000 Mustang GT.

Did someone say roadtrip?

Scott, SPF#1230 (For Sale)

Scott,

I have been going to this show for quite a few years now - they have a pretty good show - lots of participation from the surrounding area - good Ford powered car show - drive over if you have a mind to - see you there........

I always miss this show as it is the first Saturday in August and we are on vacation at this time. I will be there for the first time in many years as we were on vacation last week. I'm helping with parking and the club anticipates over 100 cars. The venue is good with plenty of parking for cars and spectators. The only thing is there is no food service without walking across the street. As it is a Mustang show, I'm bringing the Shelby. It should be a good event and travel from Houston is easy in and easy out.
Great Hills Baptist Church is just off of Hwy 183.
