Don,
Great to see you have your new driving school up and running !!!
I have no doubt that this school and track time is even better than my previous track experiences with you.
And that is saying A LOT !
Sorry to say I can't make this round though.
How often are you going to schedule these ?

Boy, do I wish I could make it, but......
Don,
It is great to see this event you have organized at MotorSport Ranch! This is an absolutely wonderful track and one of the most forgiving ones I have ever been on. However, with Football and Volleyball seasons in full swing now at Woodrow Wilson High School, I am pretty committed for the next few months.
I would imagine this will become a fairly periodic event ( I hope), and I will do my best to attend one of them in the future, but for now the family takes precedence over my "fun" time.
Good luck, & I will show for a later one.
John Russell
ps. Jim, are you driving your SPF yet??

Chris, Yes we are working the SCAT event on October 28, 29, and 30 we are asking everyone to come out in large numbers to support this event.
SCAT has spent alot of time planning this event, but only you guys and ladies out in Cobra land will make this event fun. So all of you guys that haven't won a trophy or think you should have, needs to dust of your Cobras or whatevers and come to this event.
You don't have to be a SCAT member to join in the fun.
Thanks, db
P.S.If anyone needs a trophy, send me a email with size and description of what you want and I will get it. ( trophies will not be mailed or shipped, must be present to pick up at my location. )

You guys think way to small, you need to ask for Waterford Crystal base with a Sterling Silver 20 Gallon Punch Bowl on top a little taller than the Stanley Cup with your name in blinking bright blue and white Neon.
Now that's trophy, db

Godzilla will be returning!
Oh, Geez..........now we've gone & done it! Kristin on MotorSports Ranch, with Don Barnes teaching her how to drive......... Boys, I think we have a problem on our hands!!
I think everyone is going to have to sign up with Don & Jim, or else Kristin is going to be running circles around all of us, and MORE POWER TO HER!!!
This is really cool,

You called it Mr. Russell.............
Kristen learned very quickly today and tore up the track at MSR. The rest of us have to respect this little lady as she has lots of moxie and had tons of fun!
I hope more of the TCC will come out and join in the fun at the next event!

I'm STILL whupped...
wheeee-ooohhh!!
I feel like I need toothpicks to hold my eyes open. This old lady was in bed at 9:30 last night. ugghh.
Haven't gotten the pictures loaded yet. Will do that shortly. Thanks, Jim for the great day. And Don, whoaa!! What a drive around the track! Riding in a Corvette, with A/C no less! Fast straights, fast stops, fast corners, man, I'm still hanging on.
I kept thinking, smooth, smooth, smooth, oh yeah, take a breath before the rattlesnake, and remember to breathe again after. Lots of fun!! You chicken livers, c'mon, let's go!!
Kristen Your @$$ is mine!! (well, maybe not really!!)
BTW: regarding "tearing up the track today"
I did not: go off the track at all. Hit any one or anything. Spin out. Miss a gear. Break anything (important). Go very fast.
But, others DID: go off the track, hit each other, spin out, break things, (like engines), and go fast. Real fast. Remember, boys, it's not all about speed, but control and good handling. (that counts in lots of areas in life )
seeya Saturday!

Kristen you're a hoot.
Get your practice in at Motor Sports Ranch and bring that experience to Tulsa next year. I want to see how that Blue Snake of yours handles coming out of the "*****" (sorry that's the name of the turn).
And, by the way I would hardly consider you an OLD LADY! Still a babe I think.

I knew it, she's gut hooked !!
Kristin,
That is an absolute BLAST, isn't it?? MotorSport Ranch is the best track I have been on and certainly the most challenging...and safest with lots of run off area if you make a mistake. I also think Kristin will enjoy Hallet a lot more when she gets a few more sessions on the track with the type of instruction Don & Jim provide. THE BEST!!!
Now, Kristin, you NEED to come to the SCAT party at TMS in October and run the ROVAL with me! This is another fabulous experience altogether, and Clois, yuo know you can COME ON DOWN for this one too...I promise you will like it!!!
Oh, by the way Clois, Kristin definitely qualifies as "a babe"
See 'ya, but not at tomorrow's meeting...Volleyball

finally post a pic, some in gallery....
well, thanks John for the compliment! Babe... I read that and laughed out loud and my 2nd son said "what's so funny?" I said, nothing, you wouldn't get it... Yeah, my 11 year old would pass out knowing somebody called his mama a babe!!! Hey, Clois, yeah, I remember the turn-- quite a b***h, it's on the back of my Hallet t-shirt, too! Ya'll are too funny, and quite kind. Thank you!!
Pepe is back @ KC, again.... The Dallas group seemed to think it was quite funny having to push me back into the parking spot on Saturday. Again. Jay says this is getting old.... no kidding, Jay! Three pushes from you - you win!!
I've added a couple of photos in my gallery. Go have a look.
Thanks again, Jim and Don
Kristen (the babe- )
