Default Need recommendation for Austin Mechanic

Hey guys, I recently relocated to Austin and need some work done on my Superformance....any recommendations?

It depends on what you need to have done on your SPF. If you need a Cobra savy mechanic I would contact Tony Mendez in Lockhart. (Tony is a TCC member.)

I use Oak Hill Automotive on 9301 Hwy 71W for my regular car needs.

Thanks Ed, I live near Oak Hill so that sounds good. The problem I'm having probably only requires a regular work. I had to put the car in storage for a while and now it won't go into gear. My old mechanic in Houston thought the clutch plate was probably slightly frozen from light rust.

I should be in the Austin Area next week some time looking at a burnt 58 Edsel. If your somewhere in the area maybe we could take a look at that and get it going or figure it out .
