Happy B-Day!
Gary, When are you signing up for Social Security and Medicare?
I'm starting up a special old farts group with in the TCC called the Senior Citizen Cobra Auxiliary Club (SCCAC). I'll be sending you an application form next weeK.
Happy Birthday Old Man!

Well...I was a little down this morning....sat up too late cause I was still 49 then but as the day has gone by I'm better. I was the same at 40 but a little worse. Susan was a little upset that I didn't have anything planned as she thought I should have. But in all honesty you guys..and gals are the best Birthday present anyone could ask for. I feel very honored and proud to call you ALL my friends. I'm healthy...I think....have a wonderful wife and get to hang out with people I truly enjoy.
I love each and everyone of you!!!
Thanks my friends!!
Gary
Ed....I'll keep an eye out for that application....might as well as about a week ago I got an application from AARP. Thought Susan was going to die from laughing so hard

Gary, Getting that AARP card isn't so bad. I broke down and got mine a few years ago, for those 'older gentleman' discounts, of course. The trick is when to use it, so as not to be too uncool! However, I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you DO NOT order one for Susan (quantity discount you know!)...on the occaision of celebrating her 5th decade (MANY years from now) of bliss. I did this a short while ago for my wife, and is just now beginning to cook again!! Some of us Varoom types just don't get it!!
Happy B'Day!!!

AARP - WOW!
Gary,
When you get to my age and driving around in a 65 Cobra, you wish you were 21 again along with your Cobra chasing those girls around. If I only had my FFR back then, what a blast it would be.
If you just got your AARP membership, welcome to the club. (I got mine 15 years ago.) You got a few years to go for Social Security and Medicare.

Happy Belated Birthday from Houston, Gary.
Fifty aint bad, unless its an IQ or a shoe size.
I would have replied earlier, but I have been on the road, Europe and Far East and just got back...and leave again Mar 28 for Africa. Have reservations for Austin, and am going to have to cancel....again. I have been gone so much of late, and leaving again causes me to just want to stay home, despite knowing it would be a riot to see all my "old" Cobra friends from Big D, and make some new ones as well.
