Congrats!
Colleen, I want to thank you for all your hard work doing name tags, and working the registration table. You did a great job, and you deserve to be the 2005 President of the Miss Texas Cobra Club.

Now, Ed. Is this an 'auxiliary' type club- where the women do all the work?? Can we have a 'founding members' club? Kathy? Me? Susan? anybody else???
Btw. (Ed) You and your team did a great job of organizing the event. Colleen, of course, many kudos for your many hours of behind (and in front of) the scene work. (did that make sense??) You are a worker bee, and forever loved and respected for that!
Congrats on the awesome title!!!
Kristen

Colleen, thanks for all your hard work. BTW, for 2006, can we organize a wet T-shirt competition?

Colleen,
that brings up the question , how will Miss Texas Cobra Club 06 be selected?
i guess if we can't have a wet T shirt contest you will have to name your successor.
it would have been nice if the club could have given you a car, roses and a crown, but you know more than anyone about our funds. Thanks for making 2005 a success.

Tommy,
Thank you so much for the nomination! You are very sweet to think of doing that.
Everyone else,
Thank you for the overwhelming support. I was stunned. But now I'm just very excited about wearing the crown the Royal Rhubarb left at my house last summer. I've had it on all morning!
I'm not sure what the qualifications for this are, and I'm not sure what the job description is, but the perks are pretty good - includes the honored Cooler/Stool in the Driesch's car trailer. And a frozen Cosmopolitan (or two).
Thank you all for making a fabulous weekend that much more special!!!

Gary,
You are just the kinda neighbor I want - especially when Xmas and my birthday roll around!
We've got a 3 car garage planned already - but I guess we could turn the 2 car bay into the Cobra garage instead. I think matching Cobra's would be kinda fun. And dang it, I'll just HAVE to learn to drive a stick then. All I need is for Alan to stop changing stuff out long enough for me to take it for an afternoon. :P

Colleen,
Please let Alan know I've heard about his "shorty pipes" idea! Sounds good (and loud) !
On a more serious note, thanks for all your hospitality, for being a patient and understanding navigator/passenger and for making an outcast Chicagoan feel welcome. I had a headache from laughing so hard at the Friday night/Saturday morning story contest (or maybe that was the Bacardi Ciclon?)
Anyway, congrats and thanks. Please pass on my sincere "thanks" to Alan for his friendship and camaraderie. What a great guy!

Dave,
You two are a pair! Riding with you wasn't too different than riding with Alan. You like to make that car GO! And scare old ladies for half a mile around.
It was nice talking to someone who didn't spend half the conversation trying keep up. Although in my Chicago days, I spoke even faster. Livin' here has slowed me down some. Does it show???
I hope you make it to Tulsa. It's officially on our calendar this year.
Colleen
