Readin' all this crap is nearly as much fun as hangin' out in a parking lot, showing off your snake, then findin' a thong hangin' from your rearview mirror...nearly, but not quite!

Sorry Ed

I should know that you would not say something so bad..

Perhaps think it, but not say it..

This adds a whole new meaning to "taking the snake out"

Default The Pink Thong

I was on the receiving end of The Pink Thong Dec of '06, I passed it on to someone in Austin at our Spring Meet in '07 and haven't heard a word about it since then.

Don't you think it might be a little tattered by now? I can't imagine someone still wanting to wear it at this point in it's history. What size do you wear and I will try and get you another one?

Default The Pink Thong

It was a ceremonial thing. Given to me to display on the mirror of my car for a minimum of 3 months and passed on to someone that was Thong Worthy. Dennis Mosely and David Shelton passed it on to me. I was only 1 year into the Cobra Club at that time and didn't know many outside the Houston group. I believe David helped with picking out someone in either the Austin or Dallas group as the next recipient.

The night I recieved it was my first date with Diane, now my wife. When she got home that night, all her family was asking about the date and she proceeded to explain "The Pink Thong". The story is as funny today as it was then.

As the reigning TCC prez, I think you have an obligation to find those thongs and rejuvenate this tradition.

Still interested in where the Pink Thong is today. Diane works for her brother in law. When they heard the story, they bought a thong and had the company logo embroidered on it. I have a couple pictures I'm sure.
