who all is going to AER??
hey, everybody. this is slipping down the page....
who all is gonna make it to AER? I have been informed that 'AER show is my mother's day present." Sounds good to me!
hopefully the weather will cooperate and it'll be beautiful like last year. hopefully the trophy distribution will not be like last year..... that's ok, John, Fred and Gary S. (I think it was Gary?)
any new folks thinking of coming out??? This is a great show and a good time to meet the Dallas area group.
See ya'll on the 7th!!
Kristen

My "plan" is to make it.....so far!
Unless I am informed differently, I have it in my plans to make this event, and we need/REQUIRE a STRONG showing of the TCC at this!
AER has been kind enough to support our Club with their big rig for the past two years, so we all need to make a showing in force!
Shoot, we can even try & get Drew to bring his Kirkham, and maybe even that Supergas show stopper!
Fun's a 'comin in May!
John Russell
ps. Lyndsie is graduating on the 21st, but I "think" that Saturday is open????? I hope!

We will be out of town this weekend and not be able to attend. Even if we were here we haven't any cars to show, 389 was delivered to Jamie on Sat. and the Coupe is in N.O. getting the hatch replaced.
You will all have to wait till the next meeting to gang up on me for selling Vics car.

Todd. we arrive quite early- by 8 am. park. walk (long walk) or risk your life and ride in the back of someone's truck over to the ihop or denny's or whatever it is. have a nice filling breakfast, and walk or re-risk your life going back to AER. Of course you could skip all that and just show up at the regular registration time, which I believe is from 8-11. i actually could be mistaken, so take a look at the posting to double check. It is a long day. awards don't get handed out til around 4, or later. I think I was one of the last to leave last year, around 5 or so. Without a trophy, I might add.
Kristen
ps. I will 'buy' my trophy this year.

Todd,
If 8-9 AM is too late for you to eat breakfast, Tom has his first one at about 5 AM.

Bummer!!!
Boy oh Boy,
Lyndsie is in the final days of her Senior year at Woodrow Wilson High School, ans Saturday is her prom! No big deal you say, BUT Mary & I are on the steering committee and we will be helping set up, decorate, and then chaperone the dance. It looks like I am booked and will have to bow out this year!
Jay, bring a car for me!
Sorry gang!

sorry you can't be there John. You'll be missed!
Kristen
congrats on Lyndsie's (sp?) upcoming prom and graduation.
It's a special time, and of course you have to be there....
my boys have the middle school banquet on the 13th, and yes, I am one of 4 on the decorating committee, etc., so will also be decorating the banquet hall, and cleaning up and chaperoning the after party. We should be involved in our kids lives. That's kinda like our JOB!!
go wildcats!! WWW '79!!!!

Looks like for the first time in a long while I won't be there either. Seems I'm taking a trip out West to check on my baby before it gets to come home. Y'all have a real nice day and someone take lots of pictures.

has anybody talked to Alan or Colleen lately? Colleen is usually on the forum by now.... I'm sure they are in the throes of building a house. Gary, (S) have you talked to them lately?

I'll be there
I will be there around 8 am to risk my life on the way over to IHOP.
Unfortunately the Cobra will not be able to make it , so I'll have to take one of the other classics out of the garage (still one with the wrong engine manufacturer).
cu 2morrow

Haven't heard from Alan and Coleen since they made their deal on the new house 3 or 4 weeks ago. Don't think they are breaking ground for another 30 days or so. Alan most likely very busy at work........
