CSX4758 Comes to Life!!
Well it's been a long depressed wait for all of this but on Saturday CSX4758 took it's first drink of some good old 110 Octane that was left over from my ERA that now lives with hey, little cobra. All I can say is WOW.....my Keith Craft 482 sounds awesome...almost scary. Thanks Matt for folding yourself in half to get under the dash and start the wiring of the MSD. And a very special THANK YOU goes out to Rob from Keith Craft for bringing this monster to life and putting a BIG SMILE on my face. This motor had been sitting for almost 2 years and it fired on the first try......well after we fixed some of my screw ups making up the fuel lines. Now I need to install the linkage, batteries this and that and hopefully pretty soon she will be ready for the road.
Another THANK YOU goes out to Mr. Gary Patterson and Shelby for stepping up and doing what was right. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Yeah it took 5 months to get it back but let me say the wait was worth it.
Got to go play!!
Tulsa or Bust
Gary

Gary, glad it all worked out for you. Wish I was able to see it in Tulsa, but cannot make it. Give Matt a hug for me.

AALLLLL RIGHTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW ABOUT SOME GOOD NEWS NOW FOR MY FRIENDS!!!
Gary & Susan, this is the best news I have gotten on a very looooong time, and the two of you have been saints!
I will be leaving my office in less than an hour to get ready for my BSA trek to Philmont, but I WILL be calling you when I get home to come see the car! Shoot, I remember when we came over to unload it the first time quite a few months ago!
See 'ya in a couple of weeks!

You DO sound excited!
Gary
Long time, no see. Glad to read you have your car back and are close to getting it running. Would love to talk to you sometime about your adventure/misadventure. Looking forward to seeing you and your new toy. Won't make it to Tulsa again this year, am going to Martha's family reunion that weekend.
Say Hi to Susan for Martha and me.
