Since i am last on your list of offenders, i will wait patiently to dice your soon to appear fillets.
It is rare that i am in the presence of genius level knowledge of the Constitution of the United States and look forward to your further edifying assurances of my dottering idiocy. You might, however, have less than perfect knowledge with the Sherman Anti-Trust Act of 1890, the Clayton Anti-Trust Act of 1914 and their various subsequent modifications, litigation history and relevant case law, particularly Federal Baseball Club of Baltimore, Inc. v. National Baseball Clubs, and other related cases which formed the basis of my comments.
Meanwhiile, to amuse my poor shallow knowledge, i alternatively observe there are a total of 91 references to the use of your word 'midigated' on a search of Google and a rather overwhelming 1,620,000 uses of the alternative word 'mitigated', of which i am more perhaps vaguely familiar, despite my limited facilities. Either the latter is a more than reasonably generous rounding-up of 92 references or you can neither spell nor navigate your way to a spell-checker.
Spelling errors here are perfectly acceptable and are sometimes a source of great belly-laughs, kept to ourselves and not rubbed-in for simple kindness and respect for the other's ideas. We try and address the issues at hand rather than personalize the discussion. However, i hope we are not otherwise and always constrained to greet and suffer various fools with complete silence.
But, who am i to question the presence of true Constitutional genius when it announces itself, with such insult thereby?
But, PS: There is no such thing as the FIA or 'they'; there is only Bernie Ecclestone, his-own-self, in command until a graceful and natural death, revolution or let contract; whichever comes first.

No doubt about that in my mind. BERNIE runs the show, lock stock and barrel, end of story!
Interesting to note he high tailed it out of there BEFORE the race was finished and the "mob" could find a rope.

The rope wasn`t the problem, I heard it was finding something low enough to dangle him from!

Indeed. Get a rope!
Perhaps BE needed to catch Peugeot's Aerospaciale schedule or bum a ride with Schuey and Jean Todt on Michael's nice Dassault Falcon 2000 EX EASY, CN# 34 (pictured below, landing on RWY23, Geneve, 4.26.05).

No I'm back - just to say that Schu is buidling hisself a modest castle on the shores of Lake Geneva with an office located in one of the towers - only $31million, so loose change really.

My spies tell me this is Michael's neighbor's place and they don't sell any of the wine. Not a joke.
If you are lucky, they might share some.
Personally, i think it a bit pretentious for my more pleibian taste... How would you ever get the window's done?

Back to the F1 watching
Wow..
How did this thread get way off the track.
Will there be anyone..other than me at the
Old Town Flying Pig Bar in Lewisville, Texas to watch the F1 (Silverstone race) Sunday?
Not the UK..not Wisconsin, but just north of Dallas.

I think there may be a little more to the Silverstone GP than just Bridgestone! I don`t think even Bernie E has enough clout to re-name the circuit to suit his favoured Horse prancer`s choice of Rubber.
(and don`t forget, with it being their home GP, David Coulthard & Jensen Button will valliantly out-qualify stronger opposition, only for their cars to fall over 1 lap from a stunning victory, or an armadillo will scare them into crashing, probably into each other.... but we`re proud of them for trying, cause that`s the British way, you know.)

Nik
Be careful, you're getting pretty funny.
My few experiences with Silverstone in the rain was just like the interior pan coating for which it might be named...pretty non-sticky wickets.
But, except for the old dirt lots in the rain and the simply unbelievable traffic both ways, what a great race crowd. Enthusiasm and knowledge unbound.
Schuey is pretty fast there though. But, David can reach down and find something special when he really wants it. And you are right that Button can do nearly the same.

...adn there ain`t no armadillos, either! I was born near Siverstone`s twin-town, Whetstone!
Ironic, really, that in one of the few dry GP`s at Silverstone,(in `99) Schuey broke a leg when he hit a tyrewall, and Coulthard went on to win that one!

Bernie really hates the Brit GP because the BRDC own the circuit outright and the greedy midget cant pull his money-earning tricks. He makes less out of this race than any other - so guess what?? Yep - lets go racing in China and Turkey, those hot-beds of racing history. Ker-ching.
He is also on record as being utterly contemptuous of anyone who actually spectates at a race - they just get in the way and are of course, low-lifes. Mind you, anyone who has ever eaten a burger at Silverstone is probably brain-damaged for life (One of my ex-clients supplies the 'food' for the GP - he would rather cut his own wrists than eat one of those things...)

Well, we used to grab an armful or two of sandwiches at Marks & Spencer Brooklands, tossed 'em in the boot (not mine, i like either sneakers or soft loafers) and i don't think we ever had any left over comin' back. It took a few trips to the car park, mind you; but M&S made good stuff, lots of greenies.
But, we bot the on-site liquids. And then some. And then...not much later... some more.
Great sands, great racing and great aley.
Nice livin'.

To be honest I hate Silverstone - flat as a f**t. Give me Brands Hatch any day - Jackie Ickx driving around the outside of Niki Lauda at Paddock Bend - in the wet!! Happy days

NASCAR compared to Formula One
Competition:
For todays races, the top 20 in NASCAR had a qualifing separation of 0.401 seconds. For the 20 cars in Formula One, the separation from 1st to 20th was 5.661 seconds.
Granted, comparing a road course to an oval might not be the best, but the two types of tracks are representative of each racing organizations primary type of track and racing.
Mandatory Yellow
Due to the concern on tire safety at today's race at Chicagoland, NASCAR announced in advance a mandatory yellow at lap 25. Gave each team an alternative of either staying out or changing their tires. For those going into the pits they risked losing track position, but they had a choice.
