Hi all,
Are future members or guests invited to attend?
Got my scratch build almost 3/4 done. Need support going into the final innings.
I'm in Amarillo.
I'm planning on being in Dallas Friday, Saturday. July 1-2

The more the merrier!
elgecko,
When I came through Amarillo last Monday coming back from Philmont I was almost sure it was still in Texas , so come on over and join us!
We welcome all visitors to our monthly meetings, and all we usually ask is that they pick up the check............. just kidding!
We would love to meet you.
John Russell

Thanks John
I'll pick up the check if ya'll finish my car.
Cobra's are few and far between here and sometimes it helps to look at one to try and figure out its' workings.
Hopefully no problems arise and I can be there.
Thanks
Dave

After looking outside, we will be there..in the F250 PSD!
Well now,
It's 5:20 am, the coffee is brewing, I have the newspaper and have just turned the sprinkler system off before the rain!I know, I know, I had to look the word up since it has been so long !!!
In deference to having just a bit of common sense left, John jr & I will be attending this morning, but the Cobra will still be in the garage, nice & warm, and dry! We, however, will be in my truck, which handles wet weather MUCH better!!!
See 'yall in about an hour and a half.
John Russell & John jr!

John
What a GREAT group of people. Enjoyed the breakfast and enjoyed the talk. It gave me a "kick in the butt" to get mine finished.
Thanks
Dave

We did have a great day!!!
Boy,
Did July start out with a bang, or what? We had eighteen people attend our monthly meeting, which I deem as an EXCELLENT turnout for a Fourth of July weekend with rain in the forecast! Our first Cobra that rumbled in was Chris, driving his brand spanking new JBL (very impressive car), then the Halbert's drove in about 5 minutes later!
We had some new faces, and even an old face that I didn't recognize......clean shaven due to Football season !
I am really glad Dave-elgecko and his co-pilot made it in from Amarillo for this meeting, and his pictures of his build in progress were really pretty amazing! His frame is really something I am glad I was able to see, and I sincerely hope we have "juiced" him up enough to get it finished so he can make Austin 2006 WITH his car!
We had a fun day, and we broke it up in time for everyone to get home in time to beat the rain!
It was a really GOOD day, and I have it on good report that August will have us in Forney, so stay tuned for further updates!
John Russell....& my sidekick, John jr.

Sorry I couldn't be there.
David and girls were leaving for Colorado, and I just couldn't get away. They finally left about 8:30, but by then it was just too late for me to head over. Sorry! I had a really fun time in Ohio. (London Cobra Show)
Glad the August meet is in Forney. That's back to my neck of the woods! Are we going to Ernie Bell's Hot Rods Cafe??? I can't remember the guys name from Forney. I'm gonna guess Jim. or John. or Mike. or Steve....
Heading off to Colorado in a couple of hours, as the boys got home from Scout camp yesterday afternoon. Peter got 'tapped out' for Order of the Arrow.
Seeya in August!! I hope!!!
Kristen

Yep, August is slated for Ernie Bell's - breakfast.
We did get sprinkled on the way home, but we made it in to the garage just seconds before the real rain started. Timing is everything.
Great meeting and Chris' car is really something to see. I love that he even gave Stacy her own rollbar. Some hubby's just value their wives a bit more I guess.

a little wet
Well Colleen got home just a little misty as they went east... me going straight west got caught in all of the rain...
so for the car I said to Jimmy... will never see the rain I actually said some what dry if I kept it to about 60... considering I only driven the car about 400 miles it was not a fun ride
I should have taken my own advice and went to Keith Craft to have them take a look at my motor to see what is wrong.... could have pulled under the the gas station next door. Next time
See you all next month...
Chris
