No snake yet but well under construction, my BC wheels finally arrived last Friday and I should have a rolling chasse with engine buy the end of next week, if Rob comes through on his promise.

Just waiting for someone to buy my car so I can order a new one. It's hard to have a perfectly clean Cobra in the garage and not drive it as to kkep it clean for the potential new owner.

Gary,

I could come by and test drive it and get it dirty then you would have an excuse to drive it before you clean it again??????

Talking to a guy in California on my car but don't know if it will work out or not, seems interested and one in SC or is kicking tires.........

Red face live/work/drive

The Nolands are still here... I guess we know why we have not heard from James in forever with the kid... all I can say to him...don't expect to drive the car much for a while. I am waiting for the day Andrew can go for some rides with Daddy

Stacey is a slacker and has not been keeping up on here...she says she is soo busy.

Still sneaking around here when I can.

The only joke I know is "Mater" reminds me of Tom Meadows. Dang they act just like each other.

I talked to Tom about his new house and he is "Happier than a tornado in a trailer park" (to borrow Mater's words)

Love ya Tom!

Been busy since the Austin meet (It motivated me!) planning my moves.

1) fitting steering column

2) fitting pedal assembly

3) moving engine mounts

Getting ready to go to Keith Craft for some High Quality work. Hopefully next Saturday....Rob and those guys are the greatest. Helped me plan my needs and filled me with great ideas.

If any of you have never been to KCM and see the fine work they do stop in M thru F, open 'til 6PM ........Great Team!

I'm here. SPF 1941 has not seen much action lately. Been busy.

I picked up a solid '66 fastback Mustang this spring that I heard about through the grapevine. It was restored in 1990 and has had the same owner for the past 17 years. It is not perfect! It has been driven about 5000 miles a year since restoration. It is Rangoon red (needs paint) with red seats, red carpet, dash and a white head liner It is a a "C" code (289 2bbl) car with a manual 3 speed, working A/C, and style steel wheels. It has current tags. Unfortunately I don't have any room to store it and I am afraid that it will take away any limited quality time that I have to play with the Cobra. So your asking... why did I buy it? I ask you...Why do dogs chase cars? I had hopes of making a great restomod out of it but my wife refuses to give up her side of the garage. I guess I should of asked first. If any one in this group is interested let me know and I may let it go.

Cool

Hey,
A lift is a great idea! Unfortunately my garage has an 8 foot ceiling. My wife said I can build a garage in our backyard due to the "Sanford and Son" appearance that I have created. Music to my ears! Now I need plans and stuff. I should have bought a car months ago. HUM, Maybe I should buy a boat...
