future owner wants a look
I'm an Austin guy who's very interested in a Cobra rep, probably a Backdraft, and I am planning to crash your party so I can get a good look at all the cars, paint colors, custom features and whatever. It seems like a great opportunity to see so many cars all at one place. What time do you plan to leave on the morning drive to College Station on Saturday? If it's too early to catch you at assembly, what time do you think you'll get to the Koppe Bridge B & G? Is it okay for an "outsider" to drop by? I did own a Sunbeam Tiger for 12 years so I do have some Shelby credentials. Ted Schenk

Ted,
All are welcome. The plan is to depart from Conroe around 10:30 in order to arrive in College Station for lunch around 12:00. By my count there will be at least 11 different brands of Cobras represented, including:
- ERA
- CMC
- Everett-Morrison
- Lone Star
- Superformance
- Unique
- Backdraft
- Factory Five
- Shell Valley
- RU Car Crafters
- Street Beast (maybe)
Look forward to meeting you.

Rick,
Looks like 24 confirmed for Saturday probably 20 Cobras. Two or three meeting at CS for lunch. Trying to track down 4 or 5 more locals. Should be a nice turnout.

Mark,
Yeah, I've got 19 couples or individuals for sure from Houston with 17 cars. Talked to Tonya today and she should be there on Saturday morning. Not sure about Randy T., Justin U., the Nelsons, Rob B., Daryl L., James W., George K. and I'm not sure if Pete G. is still alive.
I've also got 6 lucky out-of-towners with 3 cars.
Gonna be a little warm, but the humidity is suppose to be lower. Should be a blast - I can't wait!
What's the latest thinking on tailgating?

El Prez nix'd the cooking. Going to check out the local eateries. There will be lots of adult beverages consumed, so I call that tailgating.
I've talked to Justin, he and Cheryl will be there Saturday. Haven't heard from Daryl, James W., George or Rob. Trying to get Linda to come without Scott. Haven't seen or heard Pete in a long time. I think Randy told me that he made his resv. some time ago.
What about Mark H. or Kenny J. ?

Rick,
Can't take credit for the weather. I just picked a date and the good Lord did the rest. He takes care of us fools. Having a hard time focusing on work today. Would like to tell my clients to go take a hike until Monday. I Need to be working on the car.
