Well, I'll toss the 18th out there as a tentative date as that is good for me too. If we said the 18th, does that work for enough folks?

The 18th works for me.
If it is a bit cool, I may not like it but the car sure will.

Include us.
I'll see if I can drag the wife along too. I hope it's not snowing.

OK, I have a last minute change and could go next Saturday, October 28th. I've edited my previous post accordingly. I'm leaving for Cabo in the morning and will return Friday evening. I'll have limited internet access while there but will check in to see what everyone decides.
I'm OK with either date.
Does anyone know the McKinney area at all for a good place to meet? The cruise sort of starts at the intersection of 121 and 5. Is there a restaurant or gas station or any business with a parking lot at that intersection that we could meet at? Suggest we plan to get rolling by 9am.

I can't say on either date if I can go. John Ross and SSSammy (Sam W) both live in McKinney. Tittle lives up there somewhere, too.
Decide on a date, post a time and location, and we'll see how it goes!!
I'm leaning more towards Nov., just because of more notice for that date. November can be beautiful!!!!
If ya'll pick this next weekend, well that's also when Colleen is having her halloween party.

Cruise
Kristin,
Good point on the party. We could always end the cruise at Alan and Colleen's house. That might limit some folks decision on a costume though.
Whatever everyone decides is good with me.

McKinney Departure Point
Jim, there is a big retail/restaurant area at US75 and Eldorado Pkwy, just west of your point at 121 and TX5. If folks leave US 75 at exit 39 (Eldorado), an immediate right from the offramp will dump them into the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse. I suggest the group gather on the north side of the restaurant. Depart east on Eldorado to intersect Hwy 5 ...
I would like to come along if I can bring my Z4 Cobra, or maybe my Honda GoldWing Cobra I'll stay well back so you guys can pretend I'm not with you. Either date would work for me.
Cheers,
Sam

Let's ride
so I keep missing all of the fun stuff... We have family coming in for andrew's 2nd B-day next weekend (28th) but... there is no reason we cannot do these types of cruise more often... I would propose again on the 18th
Also depending when everyone is going to meet up there is a Cafe Brazil on the other side of 75 at El Dorardo PKY... since everyone seems to have liked there food in the past...might also be an idea

Count me in for either the 28th and or the 18th. Getting heat and A/C installed in the Coupe so I can ride in comfort. J. Dean...maybe we can hook up and cruise together to the starting line. I give you a call.

Saturday Oct. 28th Poll - Who all is coming?
As proposed earlier, lets plan to meet at the Texas Roadhouse at the El Dorado exit in Mckinney. How about 9am?
Let us know who all is inso we will know when everyone has shown up there!!

How about lets make it a shorter one, just to Wolfe City, eat lunch while hanging out for an hour or two, then head back by 2pm.
9am - leave McKinney
10:15 - arrive in Wolfe City, hang around the car show, eat lunch etc.
12:30 - head back
We can do the longer one to Paris next time.

John,
I'm in. Probably with my daughter. I'm coming from Rockwall/Heath. Ya gotta give me some time to travel that extra 45 minutes.
Gym J Cups, are you going?
