I'm in. The wife gave me frowny-face, so just me.
Unless Jennifer Aniston is interested in coming with me.
I'll email her...

We've got 3 Cobra roadsters, a Daytona coupe, and a Z-something....any: corner marshalls, flagging and scoring, Harleys, or any other looney tunes in the parade? I'll pop for the first round of adult beverages. As my war department spouse used to say in her previous life as a TWA hostess: "Will that be coffee, milk, or some of that special TWA Tea?" Hey Hey let's hit the road! See ya Sat.!

Steve S - I'm planning on the Wolfe City trip also. Should I swing by your house so we can caravan?

John D. - What if Steve and I met you guys somewhere on I-30?

Kristen? This is your kind of deal.

Gym J Cups,

If we're doing the cruise, we should probably leave by 8:00 - 8:10 to make McKinney by 9:00. We can meet at the Mobil station in Heath. (FM 740 & FM 550) Lord knows I'll need fuel.

Gym J,

Coming from near I35, the way I go to McKinney is not toward I30, it is more northeast of me about 25 miles.

John,

We'll come through Rowlett via Dalrock, 66 & Rowlett Road, around 190 to 75, then north to McKinney. Believe me, I've driven the "soccer" route a thousand times.

OK folks,

It doesn't look as if any of us want to compete for trophies, but only show. (Please check their web site: www.cruisinautumncarshow.com/)

Here is a response to my email requesting to reserve some spots for us:
--------------------------------------------------------
Stephen,
Have you checked the weather forecast for Saturday?............
Low 70's, and sunshine!!!!!!!
What a day for a car show! It should be a really big show. I talked to Steve Stidham yesterday, and he said applications are arriving by the bundle. It may not be possible to save a show spot, but I'll see. The parking lot at the school is fairly big, but with the numbers of cars expected, I'll guarantee it will be full.

As far as food goes, we should have burgers & BBQ.
Should be a good time.
Clay

Do we want to pre-register for this event?

GUYS

I will probably be at this show, competed it in now for two years, this will be three. Big show, had 258 cars last year, got to get there early about 7.30 to 8.00 if you want a decent spot. They give out trophies about 3.30 Two years ago we won best of show and even got an article about us in cruisin style magazine. Last year we got 1st place in our class. Lots of people there are some "really" nice cars. Maybe see some of you there?

Steve S. & John D. - I'm thinking I'll just go straight to Wolfe City from Forney. McKinney is quite a hike, in the wrong direction. Maybe I'll just meet you guys there.

I'd still like to do a cruise in November and bring the wife.

Kristen - We're going to do the grandkids thing Satuday night so we'll not be able to make Colleen and Alan's bash. Sounds like it will be a blast. Be careful driving home.

Default November cruise

Hi folks,

Long time no talk. Has the decision been made to do the cruise on November 18th? I think I can make it if this is the day?

John,

I'm going to caravan with Jim instead of travel up to McKinney. I'll wait until November for the long cruise. We'll try and save some parking spaces. I'm going show the car for the free T-shirt, but not compete for trophies.

I'll still meet whoever's left at Texas Roadhouse, Eldorado exit, McKinney by 9am.
Steve, save me a space if you can. I'll call you on your mobile when we get close.

Miles, I'm still planning to meet there. Don't know who else, but I'll see you at 9 or earlier.

Cheers,
