Hi, Dean. I had a great time in London last year, and even though I would like to go again, this year it's just 'too much'. I do hope to make it back up there sometime. Fly in/Fly out is a great way to go! It would be a looong trip for me to trailer up and down. Maybe sometime.

Glad you liked the photo's, and thanks for the ride!

Kristen,

Sharon is feeling much better and she has decided it wasn't the brats caused her illness. The guy in the picture is Butch whose son drives a very nice RUCC.

Maybe tonight I will post a short story about one of my passengers I took for a ride during the lunch break.

Wow Kristen, you know how to paint a picture with words. Reading your account made me grin like I was there. Couldn't make Tulsa, but feel like I know what it was really like. Next year I'll be there come hell or high water.
Thank you so much for telling the story and posting the pics. Let's those of us stuck at home live vicariously!

Kristen
Once again you did a great job of telling the Tulsa story. We watched you win at the drag strip. You did a great job of driving. Did you see the red Falcon? It was beautiful and very fast [8.60 sec] We saw you several times [Sonic, the track and the car show] and my wife and I planned on introducing ourselves but it seemed we were zigging when you were zagging. Maybe next year.

thanks, guys! As terrific as this year was, I am already looking forward to next year!
hey, carwars- I kept thinking, hmmm, I've met Dean and Buzz, I wonder which guy is carwars??? You were opposite me at the Sonic?? Please introduce yourself next year. I really enjoy getting to meet my CC buddies.

Ahhh, that Falcon. If I were a better/faster driver I'd love to get into that one! Scary fast. yup, scary fast. Great looking car, too.

I have added a few more pics to the gallery; have a few more to insert. Enjoy looking!

Kristen

wow, hi, Steve. Since you moved to Florida you have just DROPPED OFF THE PLANET! Glad you enjoyed the story. I have a couple of pics to add. Will get to that shortly.

This is a pic John W. emailed me. Love the angle of entering the lane from the staging lanes. Very neat! thanks, John.

What a great story and pictures. Now we appreciate your story and photos over here.

Post some over here in the Aussie forum - we miss you.

Looks like you had a great time. I'm looking forward to making one of those weekends there.

Now I see you pick up strangers in your car, so I may be lucky in getting a ride around the track there .......

Keep the great photos coming..:

Bernie maybe next year you can make the show. It is always the second week of June and usually the London show follows with in the next week. I am sure if you make the show we can find a Cobra, Coupe, GT, or something for you to drive if you like. Who knows maybe that girl that was walking around in the see thru dress will be available as your passenger (I know one or two of the Texas drivers took her picture).

I missed this the first time around Kristen, I'm sure glad you posted a link to it in the Dick Smith thread. Makes him come alive, what a wonderful story filled with good people and good times.
