Thumbs up Rocky Mountain High

My wife and I trailered the car up to Denver on July 17 and went with the Mile High Cobra Club's annual Cruise Colorado. We went for the first time last year and had such a good time, we decided it was too good to miss. Last year we drove 900 miles in 5 days...all in Colorado. This year we went up to Saratoga, Wyoming, then down to Grand Junction, Gateway, Gunninson, then back to Denver. 1150 miles in 6 days. Folks, this is one awesome cruise! If some of you kinda get sick of all the car shows and millin' around kickin' tires and wanna drive that sucka, I would highly recommend going next year! It is a total blast! The Denver Club really has their stuff together! A great bunch of folks. We had 26 cars...three from out of state. One couple from Detroit and another from Ohio. I have posted some pictures in my gallery...enjoy!

Default Looks like fun

Glad that you had a good time. I'll need to put that on my calendar for next year.

Ray,

Glad you had a good time. We sure did and are happy that you and Becky made the trip. You will love the plans that Al has for us for next year. We are coming your way. We plan to spend a couple nights in Taos, New Mexico and then tour southern Colorado again. So you can meet us in Taos and save a few miles.

Our plans call for doing it the week of 7/16/2007 to 7/20/07 again. Al has a committee this year to help with the trip and I bet they come up with a great Trip. As soon as details are available we will let you know.

We feel we have the best cruise going on in the country for Cobra's, but we are very open to suggestions to make it even better. Do you have any suggestions for us? We need imput from some of the "Out of Staters".

We should have a bunch of pictures on the web site any day now. Check it out at milehicobraclub.com and keep the dates of 7/16 to 7/20 open on your calendar for us.

Great photos Ray! My little brother went to CU in Boulder and I swore every time I went there, I was moving there. If I can talk the wife into it, sounds like a blast!

As Miles said... Great photos,

and I'm sure the camera just didn't quite do the scenery justice.

What a way to escape the Texas Heat !
