Dallas October meet is set
Had brunch there today and finallized the details.
Place is Amado's Mexican Cuisine at 5290 Beltline Road suite 114 in Addison. It is on the southeast part of Beltline and Montfort in the same center as the old Service Merchandise across from the old Prestonwood Mall.
Time is anytime after 6PM with seating on the patio and the cars will be within 20 feet. Actual seating and meal begins at 7PM or whenever anyone wants to.
Food is great! Dee and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Great brunches on Sunday!
Gimme a head count please.
Jay

I suspected it might be Amado's when you posted before.
We've got the newest outpost of Amado's in Murphy and Alan and I have become frequent customers. And it's THE place to be the hour before the semi-montly city council meeting. One of those yummy margaritas makes the show at city hall that much more entertaining.
I'm sorry I'm missing it. I highly recommend the mini-flautas. They are a staple of my diet these days.

ALWAYS FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH! (well, except like New Year's, 4th of July etc.)
Saturday, October 7th, 7 pm. Hey, it's in NORTH Dallas- cuts a little bit of time off, anyway!!!
Hope you make it, Buzz.

Just finished my Cobra, I mean Roadster last month. My wife and I would like to join you for dinner and have the opportunity to meet other owners. We live in Mansfield.

Jay,
Hold four seats for us. Vicki and the kids will likely be tagging along for dinner.

Add two more. Steve & Yancey from Heath. My Cobra is scheduled for pick-up 2:00 PM today and should arrive this Saturday (or Sunday). My wife figures it's all worth it. I actually cleaned the garage.
And yes, I will be changing my user name from "Still Looking" to "LuvDBlues" if the web hoster will be kind enough to change it.

I did try and start a new account, but this web site doesn't allow two user names to one email address. So goes my constant struggles with computers.
That's one clean garage........but did you paint the floor? With more than two colors??? My wife thinks I'm insane. I have so much epoxy paint left over, I'll probably paint her side of the garage too.
But I'm very excited about my delivery this weekend, and the dinner gathering the following. But no beer for me until I learn how to drive this monster.
Steve

no, I didn't paint the garage floor. Feel free to come over and paint it for me!!!
I don't share the garage- just my two toys- all the other cars sleep outside.
send a private message to Ron or Brent, they'll figure it out for you.

Steve congratulations!!! Can't wait to hear the story! Hope there's a little left in the bank account because you'll suddenly realize there's hundreds of things you absolutely must have. Hats, shirts, special drying towels, something called Speed Shine....
Count us in for two seats. Now that we're out of the 7am timeslot, I'll be more successful about dragging the wife along. And mentioning margaritas doesn't hurt either.
I'm pretty sure Rob will be done putting my clutch back together by then....

You better be there Miles. After that ride you gave me, I'm blaming everything on you. At least that's what I'm telling my wife.
And you are correct. I have my eye on many things to buy. I do want to replace a couple of parts for something more "shiny" under the hood.
