Post Austin October Meet

Okay, who is stepping up to the plate?

Some of us will be at the Lake Conroe meet this weekend (Oct 6,7,& 8), so somebody set the date, place, and time for our October meet.

Default October Meet

I have no problem with having the event at my place in G-Town (haven't met any of you guys, but I will take a chance). I have a grill, large driveway, beer machine, and a cool wife with a vintage mustang...

Default Cool Wife Vintage Mustang. You in.

Ags,

Pick a date and a time and lets have another great October Meeting. We had a good time at my place on Saturday. Missed you Ed and Tony..

BTW Thomas took some great pictures. Check out his post on the Austin September Meeting. Yes my wife actually smiled for a picture.

I'd still be happy to host one at the shop. We could play with the dyno some (not test everyone, it's a fun day, not a dyno day. . . . i.e. nobody pays.) I'm curious to see what Cammer's car REALLY puts down.

Default Oct (Now Nov) Meeting?

I like the BMEP Tuning offer (didn't see the location on the website) - but would be glad to host a get together at my house in Georgetown if it doesn't work out.

Thumbs up Dyno Day

Let me check with Brian. I know he is going to SEMA and his wife is expecting in November. With this being last minute I want to give him plenty of lead time. I will call him this afternoon and see if we can perhaps do the dyno on the 28th. I let everyone know. If not lets meet at AGs since he was the first up to offer.

Post Dyno day

I spoke to Brian Last night and he is not able to have a dyno day for a couple of months. He is pretty busy this month and will be at SEMA next month and his wife is expecting in November. So we might have to wait until January for this event.

SO if AGS would like to host a little gathering then I say the 28th is good for me!

Got to check our commitments for Saturday 28th, should be okay right after our grandson's morning soccker game.

PS, Remember the meet doesn't have to be held at someone's home, any local restaurant works equally well.

Hi Guys,

Just so you all know, this is a busy few weeks for me. They've moved my baby's due-date up to November 13th, so two weeks less time to get ready. Also, my wedding anniversary is on the 30th of this month, SEMA is just a couple days after that, and I've still got two dynos to install. I was really hoping we'd get to do something this month at the shop, but the guys at Applied Racing Technology were gone the same week I was in Burbank, CA installing a dyno there, and since they've been back, there's been too much catch-up work to make time to host an open house. November perhaps??? December??? Who likes to change diapers?

I have two responses so far - anyone else coming up?

I have my car torn to pieces right now - hoping to get it all back together before the weekend.

Kathy and I will try to make it.

Update, we just found out our grandson's soccker game starts at 2:00pm. So we will catch everyone at Uncle Joe's meet next month.
