Default Pictures from Dallas, October meet

hey! Finally.... here are a few pics. Feel free to add your own.

Most of the lineup, once we got the front row sorted out.

Alan's (and Colleen's) beautiful new GT. Looks great, and Alan even let Colleen drive it!!!
(well, sort of) Evidently Alan isn't used to the width of the GT compared to the Cobra, and had a hard time parking within his lines.

The Dynamic Duo. This sweet twosome had something really special to share with us....
C'mon guys, fess up, right here on CC!!!

A couple of 'matching' GT's. Also, a little hint to their, uh, preference. (keeping it clean, boys!)

David surprised us with his new GT, also.

The last bit of the group, before we headed out....

The party group headed on down to Keller's, and got to listen to this LOUD vette... evidently quite the dragster!!!!
A '63 . (mostly, according to the owner, but not totally)

trying to upload a couple of pics my brother took.... We were going so fast I'm not sure I can get them to load!!

And we were NOT street racing! We were ALL on the same team!! Just giving a little show for the newbies, right Jim???
I'm afraid Steve's got T-R-O-U-B-L-E on his hands with his oldest daughter itching to drive the cobra!! And he's only had it for 1 week! oh no!!!!

It was a really fun dinner/meet. We missed some of the regulars, but hope the one's that went to Conroe had fun, too!
Kristen

The ERA while it still had most of the rubber on the rear tires.

Thanks for posting those!

It's nice to see where my hubby was hanging out while I was off partying on Lake Conroe.

Looks like a great turnout. Maybe we ought to think about adding more dinner meetings to our calendar. I know Sat. evening tends to be easier for me than lunch.

Alan took some pictures too so I'll see if I can figure out how to load them this evening, along with the ones I took in Conroe.

As for Matt and David's GT's, I'm not going to keep clean. Why is it that they are using 69 as their number? Wait. I don't really want to know.

Colleen

Default Enjoyed Meeting Y'all!

Kewel! Probably the only time my Z4 will ever be in a pic with a GT. That's me and Mary Beth in the next to last pic behind the Gulf GT.

See you in STL!

Don't go to Tulsa. Take 69 to Big Cabin and catch the turnpike there. Save you about 70 miles. Leaving my house now to meet up with Clois and Lew in Tulsa.

See ya Wednesday.

Kristen and Colleen together at "Run & Gun", with no hubbies? R&G may never be the same again.

For those of you who missed the cruise to Keller's, really missed a BLAST!! I propose that anytime we have a dinner meet, we need to cruise somewhere afterward. WARNING: You shoes may become very slick and slip off the clutch often. Huh Kristen? By the way.......she cheats off the line.

You are impossible to ignore!

I can't go. I have 3 meetings Thursday including an interview for my boss' job. It would probably be in bad form to not show up for that.

I think I need to get dates for all your trips so I can plan to go with you.

You both cheat off the line!

I constantly had to slow down and wait for my daughters in their car. (How's that for an excuse) You wait until I get use to driving mine. I WILL give both of you a run for the money.

I just dropped mine at KCM this morning to work some of the bugs out from the previous owner. Friday will be the earliest I get it back. Hum-bug!!!

Oh yeah, thanks a pant-load Kristen. Now BOTH of my girls are using you as an example for cars they want, and how to drive. Geeze, there goes my insurance rates!

Big Cabin is definately the way to go, but beware of the speedtraps. I'd say from McAlester north to Big Cabin is one big speed trap. An OHP pulled me over one time just to warn me of Stringtown (on of the worst towns).

The route does save time though.

Can't wait to meet everyone.

It was indeed a fun drive over to Keller's, but we sure go there quick keeping up with Kristen.

Good to meet Steve and Yancey and family as well.

We definitely need to plan more after-meet cruises while the weather is good.

Looks like y'all had a great turnout for your meeting. This is the best part of the year to enjoy these cars.

I got a 'pink thong' sticker for my car and my helmet!!!!

sounds like a great trip.

hey, John, Steve, Jim..... ya'll are gonna ruin my reputation as a 'safe and cautious' driver!!

off to run n gun in the morning..... then I can really gooooooooo.....
seeya next week!!!
