Austin Parts Swap
If you're like me, you might have some extra parts laying around the garage. I have valve cover breathers, wheel centercaps, Russell fittings, a horn, etc. They're perfectly fine, they're just extra. One man's trash is another's treasure.
So in lieu of throwing them away, what if everyone cleaned out their garage and brought their extra "stuff" to Austin and we had a sort of "Parts Exchange" in the parking lot one day? I'm not looking for any money out of this stuff, just instead of throwing it out, I'm sure it would be useful to someone else. Just spread it all out on a table and take what you want.

I don't know if I have anything anyone else would want that I'd be willing to "give away," but I'm sure I could round up a bunch of used stuff that I'd be willing to sell for the right price. Anyone else interested in a little mini parts swap-meet?

We can always rope off
a few parking spaces and have a small parts swap meet area. Bring a tarp through the stuf on the tarp with a price and contact number and let it go.

I don't have any extra parts, but I could sure use a few since my Holliday "turnkey Cobra replica" is anything but. I'm pretty much going to have to rebuild the whole car. Right now it's a rolling embarrasment.

I have three of these red Cobra's new in the box. $50 each. Only 1 per household. They are all on the same frequency! Now you know why I am selling 3 and keeping 1. And yes they are licensed by Carol they are not knock offs.

As you're doing your final packing, don't forget to take a stroll through the garage and scoop up some of the items you'd like to give/barter/sell at our little swap meet Friday night. I'll bring a table and blankets to set some things out on.

Linking up with james-w?
Kristen, james-w,
Thanks for the help and for the opportunity to get a mini-me cobra. I need some help with how to make contact to buy the rc cobra. All I know is james-w, Round Rock, FFC. I will be there about 8:30 or so I have a red w/white stripes cobra, tan interior. I'll be wearing a red (not pink ) T shirt and black ball cap with Excalibur script. I'll be heading for the trailor to check in, then ogle the cobra candy Any advice about how to find james-w is greatly appreciated.
