Name the baby contest, again!!
well, some of you may remember 3 short years ago, when i got Pepe.
I bought him on March 4, 2004, from Gary.
One of my first threads was the "name the Cobra contest".
a lot of ya'll submitted suggestions for my new Cobra's name, and then the Dallas group voted at the April meet- which happened to be my first meet and my birthday! Wow what a fun day!!!
As fate would have it, Gary submitted about a dozen names- and lo and behold the Dallas group voted on his choice!!! "Pepe le Pew" (aka known as Pepe le bleu to us in dallas )
so.....
time again! Please submit names you think would be a nice match to:
Pepe- the Cobra
Gus- the Mustang
have fun!!
either boy or girl names will be considered. I had thought of Penelope....
Kristen

Spanky or Thumper. Don't ask me why...they just work for fast cars with attitudes.

I'm not a member of the Texas club, but I'll put in my 2 cents anyway ...
1) Beast
2) Wild Child
3) Carroll
4) Turtle
5) Freddie, Freddie, he's the man ...
if he said it, who the hell cares!
6) EYHO (Eat Your Heart Out)
7) Just E' Nuff II
8) Penelope (I like that better than Penny)
9) MINE (repeat quickly with a whine like a 4 year old rug rat crumb crusher)
10) 410K or Roth IRA

OH YEAH !
I remember the last contest very well.
I won a major prize for my suggestion.
Didn't win but by the prize I must have been in 2nd place.
Maybe it will make the final cut this time around.

Since "Shelby" is actually in the name of the car, I stuck with the Carroll Shelby theme:
Roy (Carroll's driving teammate while winning LeMans in 1959)
Tuli (the species of bull that Carroll imports and sells)
Lee (he's from Leesville, TX)
Terly (derivative of Terlingua Racing Team)
I have a dog named Rufus so I like that one too. Other dog's named Fred because he was rescued from Fredericksburg. Fred wouldn't be bad. Sounds like a good gang of drinking buddies - Pepe, Gus and Fred.

Miles. you are thinking too hard! Easy easy!!
Colleen. hmmm, cute... took me a minute. (must be all those beers at Campisi's!!!!)
Was over at JE's house tonight, picking up Graham. Molly was kind enough and brave enough to take 5 teenagers to Six Flags!! wow!!
John was no where in sight... I'd be hiding from me, too!!
more later!
keep thinking! I don't think these have been as 'creative' as ya'll did with Pepe. c'mon, now.

I think JE's got his hand's full with a new boss these days. Are you sure the new owner is still willing to let you have that car for such a steal?
Molly is a hoot. She and her sister crack me up.

I like Fred; I like Miles. But....
there are two buddies in the Dallas group with those names!!
Would be kinda odd to be talking to Fred or Miles about Fred or Miles!
"five hundred
(five HUN-dred) quinientos
(key-nee-EHN-tohs)"
was thinking maybe 'kenny" ??? too odd?
too much like Kenny Cheesy?? (Chesney)
