Gary,

Glad you are planning on participating! I know Don Wallace is planning to be here as well. How about some of the other TCC members? Kristen, Miles, Steve..........? How about the Ford GT guys, Matt, David and Alan?

Jim,

Probably need to make the meeting tomorrow and talk it up, sure you can get a few takers. I will also be out on the 28th for a couple of track sessions in the Corvette, maybe I can get you to ride along.

Gary.

Thumbs up Roll bar

Mike,

Cobra's run in the Street Car class, so the original roll bar that comes with the car is fine. These track sessions are not "races" and while passing is allowed, they are not considered competitive events. If you are comfortable with your roll bar, we are too.
We've had Factory Five, Lone Star. Superformance, Classic and ERA's among others run these events with their original roll bars.
Helmets are required and we have them for rent if you don't have one, so come on out for a fun day on the track!

Sounds like a blast! But I'll be at the American Institute of Architects Convention in San Antonio that week.
I'm still saving my pennies for the Intro to Road Racing ($$$!), which looks like a prerequisite to these events.
I really am interested in tracking the car and seeing what she'll do. I might need a lot of instruction, but I'm a quick learner!

Miles- this is EXACTLY what you want/need to do. too bad it doesn't fit in your schedule. Usually one in May, one in Oct. (but the Oct. one might conflict with run n gun)

Gary & Jim,

I've laid out so much cash lately, new truck, new trailer, parking pad for the trailer, pre-payment for Tulsa, NASA HPDE in College Station, I'm going to have to tap the brakes a bit. I know I showed interest earlier, but this time I have to pass.
Sorry,
