Did anyone decide they were packing up a grill? If so, I'll throw in some venison sausage.
Otherwise, what can I bring for the Friday Dallas tailgate gig?
Tequila, beer, chips, Hooter's girls?

Empty seat
"K",
Do you still have an empty seat for Thursday nights cruise? Caroline and her roommates are going to try and head over from Stillwater for the Sonic ritual if they can get off work. I have a seat open, Miles does too. Nothing planned yet, but she was asking.
Thanks,
Steve

Weber Kettle!
Larry, John, Miles .. I will throw the 22" Weber in the back of the Escalade. You guys can plan your entrees. Are we cooking for the TX crowd or for whoever? Just TX and invitees right? Larry, if you are bringing charcoal and lighter, then I will just bring the little bit of leftover charcoal I have.
Getting stoked!!

Sammy! Yo' da man! I'll help with the grillin' and James Y said he'd assist with the chillin' Kristen's got the fixin's, John's bringin' the dogs and buns, Miles is supplyin' some Bambi meat, Jackie's bringin' some Mmmmm cookies...We got da goods for a perfect TAILGATER!
Like my uncle Bobby Briquette from A&M, who was an expert griller, used to say: "Larry, a dry rub is a mix of spices used to flavor your ribs, pork steaks, or whatever you are prepin' for bar-b-quein'...it's not to be confused with a coed from Texas Tech." I'm not going to tell you what he said about Marinade.
Remember...Don't forget to stay way right at "the b!tch"
See you all Thursday.

ok, Steve. Caroline or friend can have my spare seat on Thursday, cruise to the Sonic.
HEY, YA'LL, I AM NOT IN CHARGE OF THE TAILGATE PARTY!!!!!
I'll bring a table, salsa (homemade) and chips, and a couple other things like plates, cups etc like Austin.
I don't know WHO we're feeding.
we can serve til we run out......
but... coordinate hotdogs, buns, etc. I wouldn't go to the trouble of hamburgers and all the extras like tomatoes, lettuce, etc.
We can do hotdogs pretty easy with ketchup, mustard, relish etc.
Wonder why we haven't heard from a few of the oldies?? (as compared to the 'newbies'??)
guys??? Not naming names here.....
anybody volunteering to bring a REAL margarita machine??
I'll bring a jug of tequila (or whatever goes in it) if you like, but if we're relying on ONE blender from Patrick it's gonna be tough....
It's only 2-3 days away.
Whaddya think?
K

Hi Kristen, wish I could make the tailgate party Friday, I already have plans that I know I can't get out of.
I'm trying to juggle some things to make it to Happy Hour at Clois's place Wednesday night.
I know I'll be able to catch up with everyone Sunday at the show, hopefully the weather will cooperate.
Randy

Kristen,
Thank you for coming up with the tailgate party even though you are not in charge of it. We'll think of some more things you can not be in charge of......meanwhile....We'll feed all those Texans and friends of Texans we can!!

I'll definitely run to the store and grab some beer and ice, then pack it in a cooler to tote around the parking lot for the Texas group.
I sure look forward to seeing everyone and going to my 1st Tulsa event!
James
