Tailgate party friday in Tulsa
hi.
Are we doing snackies, etc.???
I'll bring chips, hot sauce, table, plates maybe and paper towels etc., sorta like Austin.
Anybody bringing real food??
What about a margarita machine or blender or anything??
Jambalaya??
If i remember correctly, Doug R. and let's see Doug S. and several others have had their 'hand' in the cooking.
Anybody interested this year??
no??
If we just want to throw together some snacks that's fine.
We can just show up and have pot luck snacks/food.
But it would be nice if somebody was in charge of the margarita's
Kristen

I'm here, but in Tulsa already. Where are you pitching you're trailers? I assume you're going straight to Hallett? I'll be happy to bring anything out since I'm local, but I bet you Texans will come well prepared with all your trailer space and tequila .

How does six dozen HOME MADE chocolate chip cookies sound? Mmmmmm!
I called Kim (Sales & Catering Mgr.) to see if the hotel allows charcoal grills out on the grass by the parking lot for an informal tail-gate party. She asked if we had done this in the past and I said, "Oh yes!" She said "No Problem!"
Who wants to bring a Weber Kettle and a match? I got the charcoal and the starting fluid.

well ok, then.
we'll see what materializes Friday afternoon.
cookies, chips and a blender sound good.
not sure about the grill thing. That's a lot of work for somebody.
but if somebody wants to bring a grill, we could do hotdogs. that's not too complicated.
or..... keep it simple- snacks, dips, pretzels, appetizers etc.
oh, and folks should bring stuff to drink.....
byob.
bring stuff for margarita's, tho'.

Trust me they are more than well prepared! Last year it was Jambalya (in a 15 gal cooker) and margaritas and more margaritas.
By the way if any of you are going to be in town Wednesday night I would love for you to cruise over my house for a little more modest happy hour. See my other happy hour post.

Clois,
I'm departing Wednesday, but not sure what time. Hopefully early afternoon. Depends on work. I'm booked at the Hilton. If I don't get lost, since my navigator (wife) bailed on me, maybe we can meet up. I know Miles H. will be there for driving school Wednesday.

I'm confused. Your post indicated your party was 6/15/07. According to my calender thats Fri not Wed. I'll be in early Wed and would like to come over.

Brad I had a brain fart. Wednesday is the 13th and that is when we are having the happy hour at my house. I was booking rooms for Road America on Wednesday Aug 15 and forgot to turn back my calendar.
I hope this confussion doesn't keep anyone away.

James, drive safely and we'll see you there!
The texas group is in the corner, I don't know WHAT DIRECTION it is from the hotel.
You'll find us, though.
We could use some beer on Friday night. thanks!

Clois where in Broken Arrow?
Clois my name is Kash Biddle. I used to have a yellow shelby replica but got turned on to another small car with a big engine (TVR Griffith 200/400 and 1967 TVR Tuscan). Will you have your car entered in the car show sunday?? We should have two TVR vehicles over in the vendor section. I know some of the Dallas cobra owners so should see you guys at the meet. kash biddle
