Default Who has interest in monthly meet on Sat?

Since is is July 4th weekend, here are the questions:

1. How many can show up? (as usual raise your hand)
2. Whats best for most folks - Breakfast, Lunch or Evening?
3. Will it be raining morning, mid-day or evening or all the above?

always first saturday....
I don't even think of this as "July 4th weekend" as the 4th is Wednesday and a lot happens between Wednesday and Saturday!!

typically, july, august, september are breakfast, but that is not set in stone.

it will be raining one of the above

seems like MOST of the rain is coming in the afternoon. at least it's raining for the FIRST TIME TODAY right now, and it's 4:50. pm.

so... I'm game for Saturday breakfast, at an IHOP or such.
Whatever.
I'm gonna lose 10 lbs in two weeks so something other than an IHOP is fine, too.

Anyway, I should be able to make it, breakfast or lunch. As cool as it's been, lunch might still be really nice.

I'll be on/at the track at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Ut. at the SAAC Natl. Convention where the six original Dayton Coupes will be on display. The original drivers that are still at 98.6 degrees f will also be there...I'll be taking loads of pics and will share them with ya'll.

At the Sat. Meeting find out how many would be interested in a private autocross out at the helicopter pad in Mineral Wells later on this fall.
We can rent the facility for the day for $150 to $200. A great chance to see who is the "Top Gun" and the best "Cone Crusher". Someone take a headcount and I'll book it.

See you in two weeks...RETIREMENT IS GREAT!!!!

hey, Larry, that's great! I hope you have a terrific time in Utah. what a great opportunity!
look forward to seeing your pics soon. You take such nice photos.

I'm gonna pass on the autox thing. But I'm sure you'll have several takers!
Might make it out to watch, though.

have we decided on a place or time???

I have a conflict with the 'breakfast' choice.

If ya'll meet at IHOP or original pancake house, then have fun, and I'll seeya next month!!!!

but... if lunch gets the pick, then I can probably make it.

ya'll decide and let's get it posted.

Thumbs down won't make it

Sorry,
we won't be able to join you this Saturday. Ute is at the track in Lime Rock Park, I will be sipping a cocktail on the beach in Grand Turks.
Have fun, see you next time.

Thomas

For Sat the 7th, lets make it a "brunch" .

Since the Original Pancake House is typically pretty booked up on Saturdays, lets make it next door at the Dream Cafe at 11:30-ish. They will have both breakfast and lunch choices.

At the Dream, if it is nice, we can sit outside (near the cars). The restaurant is on the end, and there is nothing but parking lot next to it.

I will call them tomorrow and make arrangements for cars and people.

Put the Shelton's down to occupy three seats, tentatively.
Still don't need a parking place, definitely.
