HELP w/ Cobra Delivery Sunday 7/8
Dear Dallas East Cobra Fans,
I am looking for a few hands (gloved) to assist / witness moving of the Hurricane 1038 roller to its new home. Looking for three or four local currency paid volunteers (Rowlett, Texas = beer, wine, BBQ) to help Jay and I in unloading and situating Katrina in her garage.
I hope some of you can make it at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon.
Weather looks to be good for an east side cruise.

Thanks all.
If all of you can make it (I hope), we may have to divide the group into two teams and take turns racing (pushing) around the block before we settle the car into the garage.

I'm not sure I can make it.
#2's tournament schedule just posted, and first game is Sunday at 2. It's in Flower Mound. hmmmm. We'll have to see. And... if I do make it, i'm not pushing but taking pictures. I've 'pushed' 4 times already and it's the guys turn!!!

Dang Kristen,
Don't you ever sleep? Look at the posting time 1:05 AM.
John,
I would love to drop by and see the car. I have a busy day so I don't know. If I can break loose for awhile I would like to make it as well, but no promises yet.

I had a scrapbook 'crop' from 5-12. By the time everybody packs up and leaves, it was nearly one. So.... finishing tidying up the scrapbook room and head down into the house, and it's late. Got on the computer for a few minutes, and voila'! it's 1.
got up about 7:15 this am, but after reading a couple of posts went back to bed til just now!! 8:45!!!
need to get ready to go to our meet. You coming?? It's in Addison.
I'm bringing along #3, I think. She doesn't want to, tho'.
#2 has a tournament the next 10 days, so official sign-in is at 12 noon in Flower Mound. They don't have opening ceremony til 6:30, so not sure what D is gonna do with #2 all that time. I am not going to opening ceremony (might scrapbook some more!!) but the first game of the tournament for him is at 2 tomorrow, hence not sure if i can (or should, anyway) go out to John's. I do want to see some of his games, but not sure if the first one is so important. Must check it out with David. If it's 'important' for mom to be at the first game, then I guess I'll go to Flower Mound.
If nobody seems to 'care', then I'll go to John's and hit another of several games during the week.
so there you have it!
I'm still in my jammies (yea! 8:55!) and gotta get going.
I love summer with no school!
K

I will be somewhere between Duluth, MN (where 35 Starts) and Flower Mound...I guess I will miss yaa... BBQ sounds really good at this point.
Good luck with the delivery...as Gary and Jay would say "your first one"

Oh Happy Day
Thanksgiving (Texas Style) & Christmas (Cobra Style) both in One Fine Day in July... no one could ask for more.
So many knowledgeable friends with so much experience and family...
short order was made of getting the car into its resting place. Some immediately pressing items to take care of, then back to working towards obtaining a power plant.
Thanks...

I look forward to returning the favor with the next TCC-Dallas rolling chassis delivery.

John,
I am so jealous you got to get behind the wheel of your car before I did mine. I am really happy for you and sorry I didn’t get to participate in your delivery celebration. However, I know that we will probably share many good times and many celebrations in the future with the TCC.
Congratulations again my friend.

Yep even though I drove mine into my garage it was good helping out a new friend, the mini keg also helped, John S. talked to Tim last night and said he was suppose to come by today, you will be very pleased with his prices and the quality of his work, he's a real stand up guy.
