I know a lot of people have read this. I just do not know the answer.....

Welcome to the club though.

Did Back Draft not give you some instructions on this?

I would think that Jay Nordstrom would be the one to talk to on this issue.

Hmmm. Okay, let me guess.
Maybe an Indigo Blue BDR with white stripes and a small block? SS sidepipes too, I bet. Just a guess.
Get it inspected as Make: 2007 Backdraft Model: 1965 Cobra Replica. TxDOT inspects as the year the car replicates.
That's why I have a 1968 Ford Explorer with a Boss 429!
Jan, welcome! We meet the first Saturday of each month. Breakfast during the hot months, lunch otherwise. Check back here for times and location. On occassion, we'll do mid-month cruises or shine-n-shows. Usually in fall and spring. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer bunch of folks. We'll help you out in any way we can with your new arrival. Do you have a name picked out or should we help you with that? You do name your cars, don't you?

I registered mine in Denton County. No problems. Yours should be easier than mine since I built it - in my case I needed to get a title and get it registered. To do this I had to have a picture, an etching of the vin number, receipts for the engine (to prove it was not stolen), proof of insurance, bill of sale, MSO.

If I were you I would just go down to your nearest friendly County office and ask them. Be sure to register it as suggested, a replica of a 1966 etc. and this will remove the need for having to pass emissions.
