Dallas CC: engine drop Wednesday pm!
.. my car will be here around 9 pm tonight, per Rich Lacy I have discussed having a few folks help me set the motor in it this week and we have converged on this Wednesday Sep 19 around 7 pm. So far John Ross and John Shelton are coming .. anyone is welcome to watch or help. If you'd like to be there, please reply or pm me and I'll keep you in the loop as this firms up. I don't plan to serve food, so eat first, but there will be beer and sodas
My house is in far west McKinney:
1509 Pine Hollow Dr
McKinney, TX 75070
cell 214-738-4865
or see this map ..

Delivered and now ensconced in it's own little garage. Here's a few pics of this evenings event
Rich arrives:
Rich and John Ross help unbuckle my car:
Here is the AFTER photo
No, the Goodyear Billboards are not on backwards! They are painted on both sides. Will take care of that later
I'm taking the week off now, lots of fun and lots of cussing ahead, I suppose

Wednesday at 7 pm is firm!
I've seen enough last night and today that I think we can go ahead. Got all the parts inventoried, pulled the seats and the tunnel out. This is probably the last picture of the entire car before I pull the doors and hood off tomorrow.
Don't forget to let me know if you are coming Wed at 7 pm! So far I have Patrick, JRoss, Jshel, and David Meyer.
Bwana, where are you? .. tried to call.

Beauteeeful!
Sam, it's gorgeous! The paint scheme looks terrific!
Not sure if I can make it tomorrow, but I'm trying to figure out a way to put a socket wrench on the end of my cane.

Miles! Hobble on up, my friend. we have litter bearers available. You'll be like Jim Bowie at the Alamo, lying on your chaise while the troops engage in battle Hopefully there will be a happier ending!

What a beauty! A silver streak with blood lines. Is your face getting sore from smiling so much? Getting your new toy is better than ____________!
Fill in the blank and enjoy. Congratulations!
