DCC October Meeting
The frost isn't quite on the pumpkin, but I think we could do an early lunch this Saturday and beat the heat. How about making it easy for the "Wicked" electrical wizzard from Lavon and have it at the Bass Pro Shop restaurant in Garland (where we met back in January)? Show up about 10:45am and lunch in their private dining room lake side at 11:15. If you recall there is a circle drive in the back where we could keep an eye on our beasts.

I think Sam was planning a meeting in McKinney- to debut Yosemite. (or whatever it is he is calling 'it'.)
but... you posted first, whatever!!!!
regardless, i most likely can't make either one. Possibly the Bass Pro, as it is just 15 minutes from my house. Not sure.
Ya'll figure it out!!!

I'm ok with Bass Pro
10:45 is fine with me. Hopefully I will have passed inspection. I will throw in an extra 5 qt jug of 20W-50 just in case Don't forget the OU-TX game traffic!! Arrival and departures from Bass Pro ought to avoid I-30 and US75 inside the I-635 loop. I'll probably come down from McK on GBTW.
Really looking forward to Sally's debut ...

I'll be there. With Annie or not will be a game-time decision, leg willing. Officially upgraded from Doubtful to Questionable.
Good week on the job front - lots of lines in the water, just waiting for that bobber to go under!

Is this official? Are there reservations? Who pulled the trigger?
I believe Larry is having some problems with his schedule, who picked up the ball????? And don't look toward me. I'm lucky enough just to have time to look at this forum these days.

I spoke with the restaurant manager and they are holding the private room we had last time. The only thing that needs to be done is to talk to the Bass Pro Shop manager to make arrangements for reserved parking out front...the back circle is a fire lane. The Manager's phone number is 469-221-2500. We have commited to a birthday party at the same time and won't be able to make it...Have fun.

Check that,
Gym J Cups has made the arrangements. Jim & I will arrive 10:45 for the best parking. Parking will be available on the front sidewalk and the lower circle. Lunch at 11:45. We will dine in the lower party room. Back home in time to watch the OU vs UT game.
How about a role call for table count!

If anyone from the McKinney area decides to take the back roads to get there, and come down 380 to 78, let me know. I will meet up with you and follow in envy.

I understand that I won't be able to attend; I am needed at a Gymnastics Demonstration. So close, but I hear that we will be traveling in the opposite direction.
Sorry to miss Sally's unveiling.

awww, John, bummer!
I'm going to do a 'disappearing' trick- if i make it at all.
slide in real quick, say hello, take a pic of Sally, then dash off.
no lunch for me; i'll have my daughter and two of her buddies.
She turns 11 tomorrow, and has a volleyball game in North Richardson at 9 am saturday. ugh. so... after volleyball hoping to pop out to BPS and say hello.
school carnival all afternoon and evening. busy busy but hopefully will say hello!
