I do believe we are currently at 46 bottles left.

I hope we can drink a little faster

Ya, just a small riot. At least they didn't burn their own beds or living areas! haha Then again.. if they had, we would have just given them more. I don't get that... If these idiots want to burn their shelter and beds.. make them sleep in the dirt a few days! Maybe they'll think before they burn all their crap again! But nope, they burn their crap up, so we give em more!

43 days!!!!

Default Glad every thing is Calm

Josh,

Glad to hear every thing turned out ok. I agree let them sleep in the sand for a few weeks and pick the lice out of there @ss for a few weeks and they might understand hygiene. I think a few weeks lying out in the 100 degree heat would do wonders. Natives have been a little restless up here, had about three come close to our trailers. No damage, but the keep lobbing them in and interupting my sleep. Bastards!

Gregg, at what point do we step in and say.. OK, you guys had your chance to do something to defend yourselves over the past couple weeks. It's not working and now we're going to take over so our people stop getting killed! What have we lost, 20 or so in the last week?! I understand they need to take over and stand their ground... but at some point we need to tell them they failed and defend ourselves!!!

Josh,

Good one. We are really starting to get close. I found out could be home a day earlier than planned. Man I do hope so.

haha, isn't it crazy how just 1 day could make it seem that much better?!

I need to get out of here. We have new management. He could give a **** about his workers. As long as he looks good. He is very 2 faced, tells one thing to you and then tells the opposite to someone else. Basically just tells you what you want to hear. I don't put up with that crap. Especially in cases where it's my butt on the line.

My biggest problem, the contract is totally screwed up. he came in and forced everyone to work "contracted hours" rather than every shop working 12hr shifts 24/7. Now, most shops are only required to cover 12hrs total so they have anywhere from 3-6 guys just sitting aorund. they can't even get on a computer. But then, my section is contracted 24hrs, so with manning, we have to work 3 shifts of 8hrs/day and 2 days at 10hrs so we get 60 hrs. well, I work mids so I am here ALONE for 8 hrs everyday. To me this is a SERIOUS safety issue. Not to mention that we handle COMSEC and it should always be 2 person integrity. When I brought up this safety issue with the case that, "what would happen if I were doing something and fell or cut myself bad and was bleeding out. If there was another person on shift, i would likely have a chance. if not, I die." his response "Well, we'll find you in the morning." This is pretty much how he acts about everything. That's the wrong attitude to have over here! I would have liked to knock him out right there. He cares none about us. As long as he collects his large paycheck and he stays under the radar.

Another situation, we had got attacked and were taking accountability. We had 2 guys that had gone to do some work at one of the gates. They didn't report in after an hour. He said "they went to the gate, they're ok, we're accounted for." I had a major objection to this! We knew no more that they were at the gate and fine, as they could have been laying somewhere between here and there bleeding to death. What the hell is hte point of accountability if it's not going to be done correctly?! If we get attacked and I don't report in.. you DAMNED well better find me!!!

I gotta get the hell out of here before one of these reckless fools kills someone! I'm more worried about my own people doing something stupid than a bad guy getting me! That's pretty sad!

That is sad, but unfortunately the only way people like that change is when something happens and they can't place the blame elsewhere. They get investigated and then take it out more on their people. Eventually they get fired. Luckily I have never been in such a hazardous situation like you are when I had to deal with it. Keep your head down and don't let him go too far with it.

Default I can Help

My BN is working in one of the compouds. He could end up in a compound by himself with no guards to protect him.

Hang in there my brother we are getting close.
