Austin Spring meet parking
Usually by this time someone has started a thread on the parking scheme for the Austin event. We are bringing the TDE big rig and want to be included in the parking plan, since it is about 85' long. We had it there 3 or 4 years ago and will put up the canopy, which is 20'x 40', and a good place to gather under cover. We'll have a sound system and tunes, as well.
See you there.

Jim,
This post reminds me of the elephant joke. Where does a 10 ton elephant sit? Anywhere he wants to!
Where do you park an 85' rig.
Pretty much anyplace you want to!
Sounds like fun! Maybe where they set up the Dyno last year?
This has turned into a huge event! Do you think we will have over 100 Cobras there this year? Last year I think we were around 80.

BIIIIGGGG RRIIIIIG Parking!!!!
Jim,
You will need to park your rig in the front of the hotel on the street side of the parking lot just as you have done in the past!
All other rigs will be parked in the lot "PARALLEL" to the marked lines!!! - with as much parking as possible on the sides of the hotel.
Parking rigs in the front near Jim's rig is reserved for Cobra display only.
All other motor homes and large rigs need to contact me for parking locations.
Parking is at a premium.........looks as though this year is going to be a "banner" year.
All parking will be done at the site with the instructions of the Austin staff.
Please do not park across parking lot lines..............You will be required to move if you do...........parking needs to be as orderly as we can make it so that everyone can be accommodated.
Please contact me with any special needs!!!!!!!!!!!

Parking
Dee, We will hopefully arrive about Noon or earlier in Austin (Hotel) area, will that time work for you? If not let Jim Woodard or I know what will be better. We will also need a clear path getting to the spot. Truck and trailer tough to maneuver with trees and cars everywhere.
Thanks so much for working on this parking stuff. Also email me your cell number so we can call you the morning of. don@texasdrivingexperience.com
Thanks, again, db
