Wolfe City Car Show, Oct. 25th
East Dallas Group: Meet 8:15 - 8:20 AM at the BBQ place located at 205 & Highway 78
If you guys can stand another LS427, we can be at the BBQ place. I have about 300 miles on the car and have just now got most of the major bugs out. We are rookies so be gentle.

All are welcome with this group. Even those of us without a car at this point.

3-5-1 Windsor,
I only have 400 miles on my engine (long story), so bring a strap, you might be towing me. If you want, I'll be zipping (not stopping) through downtown Rockwall, HW 66 & SH 205, about 8:00 AM. Catch us there on the way to Lavon, hoping not to get lost on the way to Farmersville.
Anybody else????

John,
It was a great show we had one Superformance and three Lone Stars; I had the only car that wasn’t blue. There were and amazing number of great cars who would have thought that people would dive for ever into no where to show their cars. For the most part everything went well until I broke my engine mounts going over a speed cushion only tow blocks from my house.

Motor Mounts
The show was great, we really had a good time.
Note to Gary - I do have an engine hoist that is not doing anything at the moment.

You really have a beautiful Lone Star,Gary.
BTW- It is great to see that you are one of the very very few people on CC that know the true & correct ratio in their 9".
99.99% say 3.73 when it's a 3.70.
3.73 is a Chevy ratio

Larry and Jackie,
So sorry to hear about Jackie's dad. Hopefully he did not suffer in his last days. Our prayers are with you and Jackie's family as you make the trip to St. Louis and back. Hope to see you soon.
John and Elaine

VERY nice show yesterday. The photo's above are nice, but come on, put some others up. There were some extremely well done cars. There was an early GT500 with a Paxton supercharger, a couple of '34 Fords with all metal body work, an all original '63 split window 'Vett, and on and on. Over 300 cars.
We arrived at 9:30 and all of the parking lot was already full, so we had to park/display on the grass. When 351W and I left early afternoon, cars were still rolling in.
Weather was perfect for a nice morning cruise. But I think all four of us received at least one rock chip from the back roads.

Fred,
3.73 is also a 8.8" rear end ratio. I have seen some people who thought that they had a 9" when it was a 8.8. They were thinking that it was just rounded up to 9".

Understand.
It's just a pet peeve of mine for the last 6 1/2 years here at CC.
As an example :I've seen most to all people with LSC's who most certainly have 9",say they have 3.73.
Many others as well.
