Build Up Date
It’s all but done, if these things or ever finished. Install interior, bolt on a couple of parts, wing winds / mirror, repair broken trunk hinge, replace brake light switch and do a lot of cleaning and polishing; 21 months in build.

It looks awesome!
Glad to have another black car in the bunch!
Can't wait to see it in person. If not next meeting, for sure by the AER Toy Run.

It looks like black is the new blue this season.
Looks very good; I'd say six coats of red in that stripe and do we see a little candy in there?

Thanks for all the wonderful comments guys they are very much appreciated. Joe Wicked, the Cobra wiring guru, came over this morning and resolved all my electrical issues so we have been out cursing, what a day. Hope to get the interior in Monday and make Wolf City next Saturday.

Gary, if you start having any issues with the left turn signal indicator light, we should go ahead and redo the wiring how I did the Right side. It seemed to be a tight connection, but so did the other side at first. Thanks for the ride. It is the First Lonestar I have ridden in, and I kinda like the extra foot room.
If anybody feels like donating to the cause, I am accepting donations. All proceeds will go towards my goal of owning a Cobra.

John,
And all of you guys I really appreciate your interest in my car. In respond to you enquire she is almost done we are doing the final shake down as we speak. KC is doing a Dyno tune, and we are replacing the broken motor mounts, adjusting the ride height, replacing a rear end seal, installing new Flaming River steering knuckles (with dampers), new lower control arms on the front end, realigning the front end, welding up a broken trunk hinge and, and, and I think that’s all folks, at least for the moment.
I wound up installing the kit interior which I had not planned to doing. I had been working on a custom leather interior with Trim Shop in Plano but that fell apart big / big time. Anyone know a good interior shop that does +++ leather work? 351W who was your guy, you have double thrown down interior?
I was hoping to have it out Saturday but have to go to Longview for a funeral.
Gary
