Kid Rock isn't rap, is it?
And I'd hate to ask what "NWA" is an acronym for.

Whew
You guys really know how to treat a guy.
More Fifty cent woud be awesome. Sure beats something mild like Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen oh and those crazy boys from Texas, ZZ Top. But please no Huey Lewis & the News or those loveable Girls from Heart.
SO thanks

a bit of the classics
come on... NWA rocks... get some Easy E... for the "old school" bunch we can get some KRS1, Run DMC, Beastie Boys (I think they have a new album)...or some Glam rock... Dockken, Slayer, Poison, Ratt, Motley Crew...or Petshop boys, U2, Erasure, Depeche Mode. All the good stuff a Kid from the NW suburbs of Chicago would have enjoyed in the late 80's... the classics
I think posting what NWA stands for may not be good on a public forum
If anyone wants me to bring my MP3 player... let me know... lots of "varity" may have to dig out some of the more choice ones just for DB

WOW...... NWA. You're correct, not good on public forum.
Depeche Mode..... you've got to be kidding! I haven't heard that one for years. You really are a yankee!
I have added Doug MacCleod, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimi Hendrix, Keane, Kim Wilson, Tower of Power and Willie.
I just need to get some music that make women want to drink beer and ______ ....... you fill in the blank.

Boy bands ...arghhh.... you need a horse whipping!
Just added Los Lonely Boys. That makes 104 songs for 7.9 hours. Quality music, in my opinion, with few main stream groups.
I got a lot of nice complements with last years selections. I think all will be pleased. Mostly toe tapping, get up and dance, including some "throw your panties on the stage" type tunes. Especially if you include alcohol in the mix......
I think I've handed over $100 to ITunes this week.

Friday is kind of on your own. Some will go to the Oasis (we have a map-approx.70 miles) others will be doing the Road Rally that benefits Operation Comfort. There are several places on the Rally route to eat. Pm me if you need more info.

We plan on getting in Thursday night and will be around Friday and Saturday. If anyone needs us to bring anything for them or think we need to look at anything while we are there let us know.
Thanks, Keith Craft

Hello TCC friends,
Some of you made know me from almost ten years of occasional involvement in the Texas Cobra Club – beginning in 1999 when I bumped into John Russell, Matt Rice and others at a track event at Motorsport Ranch. Due to a few unfortunate circumstances I have yet to attain my own Cobra, but we are on the fast track to recovery once again and in a year or so I will be in a position to once again begin a serious pursuit.
With that in mind, I have registered for the TCC Spring Event, made our reservations at the Embassy Suites and donated to the Dallas tailgate party fund. My primary goal for the weekend was to see as many completed Hurricane cobras, considering their new place of business *was* mere minutes from my home and office. But those plans are obviously pointless now. I figured building a HMC car would be easier on my account than writing one big whopping check for my first preference, Superformance. Well, it looks like I’m back to my first choice after all.
ANYWAY – Anneliese and I are still coming, and looking forward to a great weekend. We will be leaving home Thursday afternoon, taking our time bypassing the evil interstate through the scenic byways down Hwy 281 and staying somewhere around Johnson City or Blanco. Then Friday morning we will take FM 32 from Blanco into San Marcos. I’m not sure what to do during the day Friday. We’d like to see the Commemorative Air Force museum, and eat at the Oasis. We will definitely be at the Friday night tailgate party to catch up with old friends and make new friends.
Part of the compromise we’ve made is Anneliese gets to go have fun at the outlet malls while I have fun with TCC. Would anyone have an open passenger seat on Saturday that I could occupy during the cruise to Mamacitas and around Canyon Lake?
Well, one more week! We can’t wait to see everybody again.
Regards,
Bobby & Anneliese Worley

Keith,
Please reserve some time for my car. You rebuilt my aluminum 427 last year, and I have a very strange intermittent vibration I would like you to look at. We will be arriving late Thursday afternoon also.
Thanks,
Steve S.

hi. ok, i'm on to plan D.
Plan A: not attend at all
PLan B: leave early saturday a.m, make lunch, spend the night, come home Sunday
Plan C: leave friday afternoon, spend the night, do lunch on saturday, then come home saturday evening
Plan D: leave early saturday morning, make lunch, drive home saturday afternoon
just not sure if it's worth it! How FAR from MY HOUSE to Mamacita's?? That would MOST LIKELY put me on the road for 10 hours or so. I looked at the agenda; what is the time of arrival to Mamacita's?
I am truly wanting to be at the lunch thing- to hand over my title. Not sure if it will truly work out.
Am most sorry about missing the Oasis on Friday. It all sucks.
We'll see. stay tuned.

Kris,
The address for Mamacita's is 1400 Aquarena Springs Drive, San Marcos. You can put in any of the map programs with your address and it will give you all the info. We are going to try to herd the cats to the restaurant by 11 am as Mamacita's opens so we can all sit together as much as possible. AND take over there parking lot.
If you need anything else, PM me and I'll try to help.
Steve
