Well bust my buttons. Another one hits the road.
I love the fast forward with "Flight of the bumble bee". Very cleaver.
After midnight?? I bet the neighbors loved that!
Can't wait to see her up close and personal.
For your reward, you get to organize February's meeting. Oh yeah, you better start looking for a tow trailer for Austin/San Marcos. Did ya get your hotel reservation? If not, you better make that an enclosed trailer.

YIPPEE, that's great. Austin here we come. Me and Wanda are driving down Thursday and Nathan is driving down Friday so if you want to hook up one of those days and drive down together let me know.

well the meeting has to be some where far for John to drive and you know he wants to get some miles on the car... OTB in Irving or Champs or...
maybe this will get me motivated to get my car working again... I have not had any time... well a master bath remodel put a hold on my availability over the holiday break to spend any time on my car.

ATTA BOY! ATTA BOY!! ATTA BOY!!! Congratulations !! You've come a long ways from sitting in the car in the garage with no seats making loud "engine" noises.

John
Can't wait to get 37 on the road. Hopefully we can get the two together for a photo op.

Remember the line from "Young Frankenstein"...Oh my God, It's Alive! Congratulations on the birth of your new baby. I'm assuming its a girl. She (Katrina) has a very sweet sound and some great looking curves. She's probably a little "Wild Thing" right now, but we are confident you'll be able to tame her. We're going to miss Feb. and Mar. meetings, so we'll see you for sure in San Marcos. Between now and then...she probably will need to be spanked a few times...just to let her know who's BOSS!

Wooo Hooo! I know how you felt, John There is no feeling like it that you can get with a checkbook .. you have to build the darn thing The anxiety .. will it all work The rush of emotion as you realize it is working .. and the crash of ego when you bring it back home leaking every type of fluid it contains Ahhhhh, but it ran, it ran .. it RAN! That euphoria will take you through all the needed tweaks and fixes
Congratulations my friend! You have arrived

Thanks for all the well wishes,
While she looks and sounds sweet to her proud papa, the fading light and sound of John's car must leave you all wondering... after all, John's LSC is the loudest cobra on at least two continents (just ask my neighbors and Bernie), and sodium vapor street lights don't agree with this filmaker's tastes either.
Still a few bugs and concerns, and the clock is tick, tick, ticking on that 30-day tag the county so graciously gave me. I am feeling better about the hubs, but still check before and after like religion. She runs too rich, but I am hoping to see Dr Rob sometime soon.
Your confidence in me for picking February's meeting place is an honor... dont know that any of us can please all of us. North, east, or west; waitresses in skimpy outfits or family fare, dinner or supper, my head is swimming. Who's up for a factory visit to the new Hurricane; let me get them on the phone; whoa that's rich.

Congrats John, video was great, loved the noise, loved the car, loved the big grins...guess it gives me some leeway on when #81 has to be done. Great idea for an open house at Hurricane, will anyone be home though? Keep smilin'

Plano and back...
Howdy All,
Just a little update.
Finally got the speedo hooked up. Took the day off and drove to the DPS office in Plano where I paid Dan a visit. Saw the photos of Sam's and Gary's cars. I was honored to add mine to the gallery alongside the now famous ERA and LSC...
Great bunch of guys to talk with.
I also have plates in hand. Life is good.
Lastly, I am eagerly awaiting our February meet. I look forward to posing three interesting options for our dining/socializing pleasure and to bringing the latest A&B product to hit the road. Sorry Mike, a trip to the Hurricane factory is out; I understand all of the phone numbers for them and the parent company have been disconnected.
Postscript for you guys up north... I got a sunburn on the drive today: high of 78 and 35% humidity on January 22nd WOW.
