Cruise Saturday January 1, 2009
Would anyone like to join Larry Rayburn and I for a short and late lunch cruise on Saturday the weather looks like it is going to be decent.
I suggest we meat at the Filling Station Bar & Grill on Preston Road just south of George Bush at 1:00 PM and cruise up to Clarks Outpost in Tioga, located on hwy 377 just north of Pilots Point, for a late BBQ lunch.

Reluctantly, I Have Gotta Pass...
You guys have fun. The menu looks great... particularly the Colorado Rainbow Trout.
Still busy working out some bugs... need to keep the drives close to home.

Geese Gary, lighten up.......
I'll rustle some feathers around here and see if I can make it. Sounds fun.
Gary, you must have cabin fever. That will be two weekends in a row if we meet the 7th.......eh?
And don't forget, John S. has to set up the 7th.

Texas Reply to Silverthorne's attempt at humor
I'm going to have my Colorado Rainbow Trout that was recently landed on a special "fat headed monkey slapper" lure, then encrusted in a cracker crum egg and beer batter coating, sauted in a heavy cream, white wine and lemon pepper sauce and then topped with the simple minded humor of the silverthorne dork fish.
Look at all of the postings from the Mile High group and one will soon realize that those poor folks are sufferin' from cabin fever. See you Saturday in the big sky and sunshine cruise.

Come on John, this is the best way to shake her down. Ask the Parkers. Besides, we all have cell phones.

I called Clarks Outpost to let them know we are coming and would be there about 2:00 – 2:30 they said it wouldn’t be a problem.
Got and email form MadM and he’s in, Sammy a maybe, Parker Power no, Patrick maybe but haven’t heard from John R, Francis, Nick or Joe.
Steve, commando want be a problem as long as I stay with Dockers or blue jeans. Bermuda shorts might be a problem; temperature and all.

Gary,
I posted earlier. I cannot make it. I have too much going on, and it looks like I will be doing it Sunday now as I may be spending all day tomorrow at work.

David,
Call me tomorrow morning my wife is about 20% go or less and you are more than welcome if I have an empty seat. If you want to come on down to the Filling Station I am sure you can find a ride.
