Default New Line of Goodyear Eagle RS Racing Tires

This was just posted on the NorCal Shelby website about a new line of Goodyear Eagle RS Racing DOT-approved tires offered through CS:

"Goodyear Racing releases its newest line of tires. The Eagle RS is a full line DOT Road Course compound tires raning from P205/50-15 to 335/30-18. For more information call us at (702) 430-5160. Carroll Shelby Enterprises 6775 Speedway Blvd Bldg M107 Las Vegas, NV 89115

Jason Swift Phone: 702-430-5160 jswift@carrollshelbyent.com [3]"

Is this new news or old news? I searched for any info, but couldn't find any. 245's and 295's?

I took a look at Roger Kraus Racing's website and they have a PDF with details regarding the RS tire. They are DOT approved (recommended for race track), but the sizes for the RS tire in 15" aren't a good fit for a Cobra.

You could run some SS drag slicks.

BTW - The date on the PDF is 1//20/10, so they must be fairly new.

Clearly this newer line is meant for the 17"/18" wheeled racer.

Thanks Doug. I should have thought about the Roger Krauss site. I was hoping for a new alternative to the Avons, since the Avons keep increasing their prices.
