Default cowel is a shaking

I have a 2004 backdraft with 17inch studed wheels ---the wheel have been machined for a concentric flange and balanced off the car---which helped some but the cobra still shakes the cowel over bumps----any one with a correction PB

Many replicas have cowl shake, some just worse than others. Some replicas don't have cowl shake at all, like an ERA.

This is not about one manufactuer vs another, it's simply an observation from myself with some considerable experience on this issue with a number of different replicas.

Consider my first replica, the Excalibur. Not only cowl shake, but it seemed like EVERYTHING would vibrate, squeak or squeal. The car was not "tight" except in it's frightfully stiff suspension. Which would induce a back ache in short order.

Every convertible I ever drove had cowl shake. I expected the ERA to have it as well; it doesn't. If the car is not designed to not have it, I don't know how you can get rid of it after the fact.
