Default WOW!!! The Nittos Kill it.

Got them mounted/balanced today and they are unreal...thx to all who helped me with the decision, great advice-this is a great place for that I have found. Went with the Nitto 01's 315/40/17 on rear and 255/40/17 on the front. 1st gear still all pedal but 2nd I can now pedal a bit then it hooks up tight and 3rd is a beast finally. The Pilots couldnt handle 3rd gear with my set up and in the twisties once they let go YIKES!!! While I have not tested the Nittos on the corners yet from what I can tell through some pretty hard street driving they are a tremendous improvement. The straight line is night and day, my ET just dropped dramatically without a doubt. Downside...it sounds like a pellet gun fight in my trunk))

Cool. Just be aware the NT01s need a little heat to be most effective, they are essentially road race tires.

Jay-not sure why the Mich's were on the car to be honest, I have ironed out the "kinks" on the car so I'm pretty stoked at this point. Which tires do most of your customers go with for a mostly street application? I am not worried about tread life and just wanted to get more traction when I put my foot into the pedal is all.

As for the NT-01's needing heat I don't care either-these tires perform far better in any condition than what I had and I dont plan on driving in the rain (plan being the operative word here) so Im not worried about wet performance.

FYI the thud I was getting in the rear was the trailing arm hitting the steel frame where the body is mounted just in front of the bushing when the arm was travelling downward after hitting a bump in the road.

Lovehammer, the correct plural is STEWARDI. meaning more than one stewardess.
