Valve stems
Metal vs rubber valve stems, which do you recommend and why, thanks for any info...

I don't think the 'advantage' of metal stems can be realized in our cars (high psi). Plus on Trigos, which I assume will be on your Kirkham, have the stems in the spokes, so it's plenty safe.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the response, my car just arrived and I noticed rubber stems istead of metal, and I was just wondering when I have to replace the tires if it's worth it at that time to switch to metal...

Depends on who fits them. I had a metal stem come loose and leak. I've also had a rubber stem fracture and a quick deflating tyre was the result.
Comes down to personal choice.
If had metal again, I would be supervising the valve stem fitment.

After doing some research I heard metal leak and rubber wear out, go figure..
