First time BillBoard user

Hey all.
As the heading states, I have never fitted or used BillBoards till now.
I am wondering what pressures to run on the street, and also what pressure to aim for when hot at the track.

Also I suspect that I should be changing the alignment settings compared to the 17's with low profile tyres.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
My car runs Jag front end, and independant rear with adjustable camber and toe.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Here are a couple shots with BillBoards fitted, I absolutly love the look.

Pitty it probably drives better than an original. haha.

Let us know how you like the billboards driving wise.

Hi Dave,
I haven't tried Billboards but am on my second set of Avons. In the current post on Avons (if you haven't already seen it) there was this posted by 601hp;

Paul,
Back in about 2001 I put the first set of GY BB's on my car. The wandering and darting sometimes made Peggy and I look like a couple of bobble heads. I was kinda embarrassed by the handling when she was with me.

In the beginning I started with tire pressure in the 22-24 pound range on the street. After a few months I experimented with gradually raising the pressure until I found my comfort point. For street driving I have them at 32 psi front, 30 psi rear. What a difference in handling! I didn't see any irregular tread wear in about 5,000 miles.

I am on my second set of GY BB's. By year 5 of ownership of the first set, there was very obvious sidewall cracking, and people were finger pointing. The tread depth was still very good, but I had to toss them because of the sidewall issue.

This second set isn't a year old yet and the first signs of the cracking are just barely becoming noticeable. When its time to toss these, I'll buy the Avons.

David

by the way the BB look fantastic on your car, now just get a touch on the rear guards of that special paint job we were talking about for a truly unique look. ;)
