Well, I must say those don't look bad. If they can come out with a reasonably priced lug mounted wheel, why can't someone come up with a reasonably priced pin mount (Vintage Bob - are you listening?). The KO spinners could be a bit more authentic looking but they did a reasonably good job of disguising the lugs. Not bad at all.

Here you go:
Full wheel (in full sun)
and a closeup of the lug nut area (you can see one of the lug nuts at 1:00, and two others at 3:00 and 8:00, if you look really close:
You would need a keen eye to notice the lug nuts at all on a casual glance.

Thank you for the updated photos. That really helps me. I wish they offered a 6 PIN version of this wheel, as I would BUY IT. Hard to justify reverting from my 6 PIN setup to lugs.

Yes - And now I have 4 fake Kelsey-Hayes Sunbursts to go with them...
My fake Halibrands are going onto another project... more on that in another year, or so

I agree about the spinners - I can understand and respect a company wanting to put their brand on their product, but it does create a styling distraction on the car...
Eventually, I'll probably break out the aluminum MIG wire and fill in the letters on the center caps, and then re-grind and re-polish them smooth...
Another project, for another day

I still think they look great. The lug nuts are well-hidden and the spinners, while not perfect, look fine by me. Dan just happens to be pegging far right on the Sunburst "authenticity meter." And I'm sure with a little work by someone with talent (not me), the spinners can be made to look even better.
It's a win to me.

Well, after two weeks on the car, I finally came to the conclusion that I had made a grievous error when I changed to these Sunburst style wheels. I gave the tire shop the wrong directions...
So, this morning I spent a couple hours correcting that mistake.
Wheels this beautiful should not have distracting white letters wrapped around them.
Here's a little "before and after" action. Here is my car from the same angle, taken earlier this year, with my old wheels, white letters, etc...

Robert...WHAT were you thinking?
Yep, looks much better without the white lettering and you got to keep some more money flowing through the economy.
Dang flimsy excuse for not making the Gainey Ranch car show this morning! Gotta get your priorities straight. Your daughter could have worked on her tan while she cleaned the pool. Right?

Yeah, well... The dirty pool was only HALF of the excuse. The other half would have been one too many Margaritas last night...
Waking up at 5:00am just wasn't in the cards today...
