FYI .... for what it`s worth , a friend who used to work on IMSA teams said on their track cars that they turn the front wheels to 15 degrees and not 25 degrees as most street cars do to set the caster .
His comment was if you were at full lock on the track , you already were in a bunch of trouble and 15 degrees worked better for their cars .

Mine is set at 15 degrees angle on the wheels and it works just fine on the street ( also track the car occasionally ) .

Per everyone else said .... toe in , not zero or toe out . Road forces will turn 0 toe in to toe out . I experimented with toe out on the track once , lets just say it won`t be done again .

The problem is that every time I want to make a change to the castor I need to take it to the alignment shop. I can easily give the heim joint a turn on each side to see it this helps but I dont know what affect this will have on the rest of the geometry of the front end? What do you do at the track? this is a CSX car so its very easy to make adjustments.
Mike,
Where in the bay area did you go to get your alignment done?
