GY Billboards- Tube or Tubeless?

I took my Goodyear BBs to get mounted on the Trigo's but the tire guy wasn't sure if they should have a tube or not! I would think they should since they are bias tires (1960s design). Also, he said if I wanted them speed balanced he'd have to install an inner and outer clip-on weight. I read on here that they could fly off. So I was planning on the tape weight attached to the inside of the rim but then the wheels/tires would only be static balanced. The car won't be raced but I'm sure to do 80 - 90 mph on highways in West Texas! What do you guys think? Thanks.

I have been running w/o tubes for two years. I know that magnesium wheels require a tube since the allow air to pass or you can simply check weekly.

Outer weights, duct tape after so they stay put! There is chrome tape or old school grey....

You do not need tubes.

Only put a tube in if you want to fix two holes when you get a nail in the tire.

Echo the above, no tubes and if you're afraid of leaking, paint the inside of each wheel to seal them. Mine don't lose any air at all...and I check every couple of weeks. Lucky I guess.

A somewhat modern wheel balancer will give choices where to install the weights and speed balance. I have clip on weights on the inner rim lip and stick on weights on the inside of the rim just behind the spokes. They stay on fine and no shaking.
After mounting the tires the road force should be checked before balancing. This will find the heavy part of the tire and see if its in spec. If not, the tire can be spun on the rim and rechecked. This makes a big difference, especially the huge rear tires.
