Default Front Tires

my A&C car calls for 245/60/15 front tires...I've been leaning towards Firestone Indy's ( can't get 295 BF's) ..they offer 235's and 255's not sure wich to go with..big block engine.
thanks, Jon

Default Check out Dunlops

saltshaker Jon have you looked into GT Qualifiers. You can put the black wall side out. IMO they are a better tire in all weather conditions than the BGF's. I have drive cars with both and the cobra. The Gt's are not Pilots but are close. Check out Avons also. Some of the guys where running them at Run&Gun and they handle very well. Rick L. Ps go to Tire Rack and search all the tires for what size you want. This might be the easiest way. They also on some tires have feed backs both good and bad.

Default front tires

Rick, I checked with tirerack and the firestone indy tires are available in 295's for the back...just not 245's for the front. Thats why I was wondering which would be a better fit...235's or 255's

I had 255's on the front of my CCX before the Goodyears. They are huge.... check out my gallery. Never rubbed at all but sure looked like they should. If your front wheels extend out beyond the fender at all you would have a problem.
