Question Question about rims..

Hi, I was hoping you guys could help me out here. This is my first post, and though I'm not a cobra owner, I recently found a set of what appear to be cobra rims in my garage. They were bought by my father years upon years ago, and I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify them.
I'll post pictures as soon as I get home, as i left my camera in my room.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I can't seem to find anything on the web about them.

They're technically "wheels". A "rim" is something that attaches to a "hub" and is usually used on trucks. Most trucks now use wheels especially due to the deaths caused by Firestone 2 piece units exploding during tire mounting and road use.

You're so correct Bob. I get tired of people saying rims. A lot can be blamed on TV programs, like on Speed TV. I don't watch "Unique Whips" much but, they call them rims all the time. If I remember correctly, some of the movies from the 50's-60's era, called them the same.I think this started years ago but in my day, it wheels.

To get technical.

Same thing as a engine being misstated as a motor.
Engine = gas
Motor = electric.
