goodyear billboards
hi all
i have an spf cobra #2162 and am looking at buying a set of billboards my question is this... i have... rear.... 295-50-15 front....255-60-15 now this is my question for the front i have a 60 series and the rears have a 50 series. if i was to get the billboards should i get a 50 series for the front to match the rears? i find with my set up now that the front tires being a 60 series look taller then the rears (50 series) or when ordering billboards they dont offer that kind of sizing? any info on this would be great. also if you dont mind posting up some pics of your car with the billboards on and sizes that you used would be great. thanks in advance for any info into this |
Billboards are not sized in that manner.

Bill Boards don't come with a modern rating like 295X50X15. It's an old school tire size thing that can only be roughly compared to the modern rating numbers.
Not sure about the back but the fronts could be roughly compared to a 255X60X15, I think they may be even bigger than that... As wide, perhaps not quite as tall. At any rate, the Bill Boards are very nicely sized to each other and allow for a perfect "filling of the wheel wells" front and rear. Hard to beat the look by anything else. |

I'm not sure you would be interested but I bought a set of Goodyear Blue streaks for the GT40 and they didn't fit. They have maybe 20 minutes on them then they were taken off the rims. I bought them this summer. They are like new. I will sell them for $750. I can send you pictures if you like. This isn't my car but the tires are the same.
